  1. Review titled Rude Reception Staff

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Prash - Posted on 10 June 2024

I went in to book an urgent appointment for my daughter who is back from Uni. I checked NHS website beforehand and it said she needs a temporary registration. There were 2 receptionists- one Indian one White. The white woman just barked at us and said "if it's a rash, go to pharmacy" - do you think we have so much time in our hands that we come to a gp surgery to be treated like this by you if we weren't really worried about what was happening? And then she gave us wrong information, told us we need to register her as a permanent resident (not temporary) and when she goes to uni again in Sept, she has to register there again. She just kept barking orders as if she was in the military and she had no clue what she was saying. Rude woman first thing in the morning- annoyed only because registering my daughter and then booking an appointment was 1 step extra work.

  2. Review titled Worst experience

Rated 1 star out of 5

My GP made an appointment for a blood test for my son. Over the years we have a few test done and some were good experience and some were so so. But today evening, 17th April 24 we had the worse. The nurse barely made any contact with the my son, not a smile not a chit chat to assure him it will be ok. After 3 attempts she wasn't able to find the bood veins. The worse part it was that she was pushing the middle all the way in, never seen blood taken so unprofessional. Left from there were disappointed and without a 8 years old scared and crying in pain.

  3. Review titled Outstanding Surgery

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I am amazed at the care at this surgery, after a year I am still in awe at the level of care & treatment from The high street practice. GP's are attentive, kind & thorough. Liaison between the surgery & hospitals is excellent & the advice is second to none. Communication is easy with no lengthy waiting. The surgery is spotless with plenty of waiting room for the short wait. Check in for patients is fast & always functioning. Being accepted at this surgery has been life changing for me, joining a surgery where you know you are important is a great comfort. Admin & reception staff are efficient & friendly. It's all positive at this surgery & I am delighted with the level of care we are given here.
