Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Moe Islam - Posted on 28 November 2022
Everyone working at the reception are lovely also they are very helpful. Same with the doctors they are very good. I was with an another surgery for years and they were bad! I have to say it’s been 3/4 months I’ve joined jubilee street practice and so far the best GP in tower hamlets.

Review titled Excellent Practice
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Carole - Posted on 23 November 2022
The Doctors and staff are alway so hopeful. And very professional. You can get advice from a range of services both online or in the practice. Today I had my first video consultation and it was great to be able to see the doctor but feeling so unwell not to have to go to the practice.

Dear Carole, Thank you for your lovely comments, also thank you for highlighting how you found some of our online services for getting advice. You highlight a very good point that when some one is unwell, sometimes its convenient and comfortable to consult a Dr from home online, we are glad you found that service useful. Wishing you good health! Kamal Transformation coordinator

Review titled Poor Telephone Service
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 15 November 2022
It will take a very time to connect and you wait in a queue from 40-60 minutes and then you have to pray that someone answers the phone. It seems the practice thinks there is still a pandemic on. Very poor service. The practice should and can do a lot better.

Dear Anonymous, Thank you for taking the time to feedback on your experience of using our services, specifically the telephone system when trying to access the GP practice. I would like to take this opportunity to firstly say I am sorry to hear you have had to experience long wait times as the telephones queues often can be very long. I agree this has become a very real problem for us as a practice and is having massive impacts on our patients, especially those that rely on accessing us via the telephone, for example those that may be vulnerable or are digitally excluded. We have recognised this issue and have been constantly reviewing our internal systems and processes to best manage our incoming demand with our current capacity. You may have read in previous responses to comments and on our website that for almost a year now we have struggled with staffing issues, especially staff turnover and are still having to rely on locums for clinical support (if we’re lucky to find one) and have recently had a new admin person join the team, with another due to start in the next 2 weeks. On top of that although we may no longer be in the midst of a national pandemic we are still getting cases within our teams of people being unwell and taking time off work. Where possible we are encouraging these team members to work remotely from home, but as you might appreciate some core functions cannot be performed remotely. I don’t want our response to be one where we are trying to justify and make excuses for a service which we agree can be improved hugely, rather I would like to highlight some of the challenges and constraints we are working with, not only at this practice but at most practices across Tower Hamlets and dare I say wider. On a positive note, we at JSP are not ones to ignore the shortfall in our service and with the help of our amazing team and equally amazing patients we are working on quality improvement lead projects to help identify areas where we can make changes to help improve the current situation. We appreciate this has been a long and arduous journey for staff and patients alike and don’t expect will have a solution overnight, however we are confident together we can find better solutions to this problem. In the meantime, we would encourage all our patients wherever possible to: 1. Use the NHS App to view test results, order repeat prescriptions, view and share medical records as needed 2. Use e-Consult to submit clinical and admin related queries which can be processed safely and efficiently even when our phone lines are busy 3. Express interest if you are willing to participate in quality improvement pieces of work with our teams to better shape your GP practices services by emailing us on thccg.jubileestreetpractice@nhs.net Kind regards Kamal Uddin Transformation coordinator
