Review titled Poor service......or not existing service at all?
Rated 1 star out of 5

I requested my medication (repeated prescription) for a 3-month supply. They received the request and they ignored it. After one week medications were not ready, I had to phone 111 to get an emergency supply. After a few additional days, I was able to collect medications from the designated pharmacy but they supply medications for just one month instead of the requested 3 months. They do not read what you request and they do not action. If you go to the GP they create pathetic excuses mystifying the real facts. For example, they have tried to use the excuse that I put forward a request on Saturday when was actually submitted on Monday. They fail even to support the patient on a simple task such as a repeated prescription. Their front-end service does not take care of what you say. They decline any responsibility and use the 'golden excuse' we are under staff!

care navigators" sole purpose seems to be navigating you away from bothering them. You have to book appointments on line. Booked an appointment online and find out a fortnight later (on day of appointment) they have no record of it. Now all I get online is "case handling temporarily closed" Fed up with it.

Review titled Communication/ Updating patient information/ Attitude

It seems that to open an email, put a document on file updating patient records in an impossible task for this surgery. Sent an email on 14/2/24, as advised by receptionist in the surgery. Asked to confirm the receipt. Reply: "It is upstairs. I can't confirm it". Waited a till 23/2/24. Nothing happened. Called. Waited for an hour for callback. Did not hear caller at all. No callback. Called again. Person dealing with test results could not help. Redirected to someone else. Waited again. Next person could not confirm the receipt of the email. Sent me a link instead. ????? 100 out of 100!!! Great job. Why do you have an email address if nobody can check it???

Although it took an hour to get through on the phone, staff were very friendly and could book me an appointment within 48 hrs

I was listen too and my symptoms were taken seriously. Dr provided a course of action with a follow up in 2 weeks. I would recommend this surgery.

I feel incredibly let down over the past year, I’ve seen multiple doctors no closer to a diagnosis, have only just got a pain management plan from my last visit. I have issues with medication every month, repeat prescription are a nightmare. Trying to get an appointment is ridiculous. I don’t get issued medication, told I need a to see a doctor then when I see the doctor normally after going without medication they say this could have been done on the phone. I’m not listened to and made to feel like an inconvenience. The last time I called after putting in a prescription the prescriber sent a message to reception requesting a template and no one did it until I called and said I had run out of medication. I’ve been with this surgery for over 15years and it’s shocking to see the changes. See so many different doctors means nothing ever gets done or finished. I live in pain currently and can’t see that changing.

Trying to get hold of a doctors appointment for the last two weeks. For my test results you can't get one even tho is a telephone appointment. All appointments are gone. I tried every day and time they get to me no appointments. What's the point texting me to ring surgery for appointment as I can't get one

Review titled Getting an appointment is almost impossible.
Rated 1 star out of 5

Since the Covid-19 the practice is completely dis-functional. Getting an appointment is almost impossible. E-consult is a joke. They do not tell you when is the appointment so you need to be always ready and further more they call you as 'Unknown' number. You cannot book appointment in advance. In other words you cannot get an appointment when you need. Care navigators are useless, they make you thousands of questions and then.....'sorry I do not have any appointment available'. NHS should really have a look on how this practice operates. You are not a patient for them, you are just a number.
