I am in a lot of pain, and wanted an appointment today. I started phoning at 8.30 when lines open. It took 11 calls and 37 minutes to be actually be in the queue. I was number 12. I pressed 8 for a call back. 3 hours later I had heard nothing, so I phoned again. This time I spoke to a receptionist quite quickly. All appointments had obviously gone. Apologies were given, call again tomorrow. Another three and a half hours? I have been in tears. This really is not good enough.

I was diagnosed 2 years ago with bowel cancer, thanks to the swift responses of the GP. I was fast tracked for investigation and ever since, the commitment and support I’ve received from the surgery has been fantastic.

Having left a negative review recently, I wish to follow this up by saying that my concerns were quickly addressed through a call from the Practice Manager. The GP I saw soon afterwards gave me time, and was thorough in her assessment.

Every single person who work in this GP is a godsend angel. I am so lucky to have their help and support whenever I need it. Being a person with a health condition and getting the best care that can be provided is very important for me and the lovely staff, doctors and nurses of Limes Medical Centre always do their best to help me when I need care. Just wanted to say thank you so much for everything guys and bless you all.

Same day appointment with Doctor. Results back within 2 days from x-ray department. Very comfortable and reassuring experience. Thank you to all involved at the Surgery.

My second time of ringing for blood results, still not back from lab, but a very helpfully lady said there is another system where the doctor can see them, I waited while the lady checked and not only were results there but the doctor checked them there and then and any further appointments where made, I thought the lady was extremely helpfully, I was impressed.

Over the years that I have been with this practice I have always been well looked after - when my late husband was terminally ill at home, nothing was too much trouble for them. And now that I am in old age I find they look after me very well too and I am so very grateful for all the care I receive. I know it is difficult getting through to them on the phone but I’m afraid it is the same wherever you are in the country. I think the receptionists do very well and are always polite. Be patient as everyone is doing their best.

My family and I have always had a good experience at The Limes. On this particular occasion the doctor was really helpful, listened and I genuinely felt like she wanted to help me. Growing up on the other side of London my experience of GPs was very different so I’m not used to positive experiences at the doctors! The Limes are very busy and they do a great job of helping everyone under the circumstances.
