The staff phoned me on the wrong number that I supplied they relayed a message through my wife saying they would ring me before 12pm they did not so I rang them and they said the doctor would ring me back that afternoon but guess what that call never happened what a shambles of a team this surgery's communication is awful no wonder that there are so many negative reviews for this place

Asif waiting 1 hour and 25 minutes at the start of a day on hold isn’t enough. I get through and am told there are no appointments. I explained it’s for sick 10 month old, to still be told there is nothing left and to ring 111. Baring in mind this child had stopped breathing momentarily. I ring 111 to be given an appointment at this doctors ( the one I rang). They have not rang me nor contacted me all day. Shocking, luckily I am not stupid enough to leave my child’s health to practices like this. Utterly appalling.

Starting with receptionist, rude and condescending attitude. No empathy for patients, resulting in taking up a A&E appointment as no one to see you for a urgent condition. Very upsetting experience and stressful. Will be moving surgery after being with the practice for roughly 50yrs. Very sad.

I call the practice on Monday 30 December 2024 requesting an appointment for my 88 year old Mother who like rest of us in the family was suffering from flu and I thought she might have a chest infection. I was told there were no appointments and to ring 111. I rang 111 who told me to call 999 which I did because she was now very confused and not able to walk. A paramedic called and after a long conversation we decided that urgent care would call me in a couple of hours to see how things were going. Urgent care said they would send a message to the GP asking them to see her on Tuesday. I rang the GP on Tuesday to request a home visit because we were all in bed with flu. They said they hadn’t got any appointments at all but they would send a task to the GP. I expected him to call on Tuesday - nothing. Her condition was going up and down. I called 999 again who said there would be a 12 hour wait. After 9 hours someone called us to ask if we still needed an ambulance. I declined as she has now fallen asleep. My back up plan was the GP calling us. I expected the GP to call on Thursday but this has not happened. I can understand the delay in sending an ambulance but not the delay in the GP coming back to us. Urgent care sent them a message on Monday afternoon. I called again on Tuesday. Why haven’t I received a call today. Mum has been a patient with this Medical Group for 40+ years and worked for them for 25 years and I am really disappointed with the lack of medical care she has received this week.

I wanted an appointment to see the doctor I called 14th October 2024 and waited 16 minutes but once through was deliberately cut off by reception I'm 70 years old and this is no way to treat patients

I had a good experience with linden medical centre on the 29th October 2024. I went in to ask for an urgent appointment and the receptionist in the morning so helpful and friendly to everyone. She asked me the right questions and was very supportive. I then saw the nurse in the afternoon and she was warm, professional and very kind. It’s great to see Linden getting back to how it once was. Thanks to both ladies

Very difficult to get through on phone . Automated service didn’t work. Supposedly in position 1 in queue, bust still on hold for another 25 minutes. Finally got through, might as well not have bothered - couldn’t wait to get me off the phone. Told to self refer through ‘MSK’ . Phone call lasted less than a minute. A slow deterioration in services across the board.

We as customers have to treat there staff with dignity and respect but the staff can treat the customers the way they want to. Could belief how we were treated today after the receptionist wrote the incorrect day on the appointment slip and we arrived on the day stipulated on the slip for our appointment. We were treated with anger and attitude. I will definitely look for medical advice elsewhere in the future. They probably don't mind to loose customers.

I called today to make an appointment, following advice from a pharmacist. I had to wait an hour for the telephone to finally be answered, on a line specifically for making appointments, only to be told that they couldn’t give me an appointment and to call again on Monday! I was told that only one receptionist was handling phone calls and she had been cancelling a clinic for next week. I asked why no one else could answer and the reply was that one person was at the desk and one dealing with the phones. As the surgery itself is mostly very quiet I asked why the person on the desk couldn’t have helped with the phone when they were free but apparently that’s not reasonable! The receptionist I spoke to gave the impression that I was completely unimportant. She even said I shouldn’t have tried to get an appointment on a Friday afternoon because there aren’t any. I then asked why I had to wait for an hour when they already know they can’t help and was told that the telephone system was being replaced in August. I was given no help, no possible assistance in enabling me to get an appointment, just told “sorry, there’s nothing I can do”. By the time I came off the phone I was in tears and now have to go through it all again on Monday. This used to be a good surgery but over recent years it has got worse and worse. Once you do actually manage to see a doctor they are mostly very helpful but (unless you are really lucky and manage to get the one receptionist who does actually care about the patients) getting to that point is a nightmare.

I don't like to leave a bad review. As the G.P. I see is brilliant. I tried to cancel an appointment last week was on the phone 20 minutes. No one answered. Appointment was for the nurse. Get a text saying I missed the appointment. Today I had to cancel an appointment for the G.P. due to staff training tomorrow. Twenty five minutes no one answered, in which time I walked up. Receptionist wasn't at the desk. The waiting area was empty, no phones ringing. At this point I'm still on the phone. Receptionist wasn't at the front desk but having a conversation in the room at the side. I rung the bell she said she'd be there in a moment. I asked if they was an issue with the phones. She replied no. Now I know the staff are extremely busy, and the amount of patients they deal with. However if you miss an appointment. You get a message. When you try to cancel and no one answers the phone. Very unprofessional. Yet one Receptionist is absolutely amazing. Takes the time with each patient. Friendly and helpful.
