I have been registered with this practice for over 10 years and it used to be excellent. Unfortunately, things have deteriorated significantly. It is now incredibly difficult to get an appointment either via phone or the website. The webform for submitting an enquiry or appointment request often closes by around 10am as they have reached capacity for the day. When you call you are in an endless queue to speak to a receptionist. My partner has waited (so far) a week and a half to speak to a clinician about ongoing ear infections and constant ear pain. His hearing is affected. No one has followed this up despite repeated efforts to chase for a response. I tried to submit a complaint via the website but was told that I couldn't do so until 7.30 tomorrow morning as the form was closed. The team at the practice are helpful and friendly but sadly it seems that they are woefully understaffed.

The staff at Lionwood are wonderful; friendly, understanding and genuinely want to help their patients. The nurses and doctors are fantastic at dealing with nerves and are thorough and when it comes to investigating the problem. It’s easy to request appointments online and I’ve never had to wait long after arriving at the practice for an appointment. I cannot recommend this practice enough, I’m no longer anxious about going to the doctors. The staff are a real credit to the NHS.

There is no point in being a patient. They say they are always at maximum capacity and tell you to go to walk in center. Yet the surgery is always empty. They love to keep going on about covid restrictions mean they can't see see you face to face, they use it to their advantage and use it as an excuse.
