    Having been asked to have a blood test ( because I was feeling unwell not a regular or standard blood test ) . But to help with diagnosis . Due to the new system of making an appointment to have a blood test at the hospital. I was not able to drop in And the only appointment they could offer was for 2 weeks time. I then did another consult to the surgery . They did contact me the same day and the helpful receptionist did managed to make an earlier appointment ( one week wait ) which was appreciated but just highlights that systems are being changed and it would appear not for the benefit of the patient .

    Thanks for your review, it is important to hear the thoughts and experiences had by our patient to help us review are pathways and procedures. However the booking for blood test at the hospital is not anything the surgery has control over. You are correct they have introduce a new booking system and there is a telephone number to call if you are not satisfied with the appointment you have been offered 01727897376.

    Had a call from GP informing me about my chest X-ray and my medication. The GP was very helpful, explained my X-ray and my medication, in great details. Very pleased with my GP and the Lodge Surgery . Thanks for all your help over 48yrs I've been with you.

    Unfortunately. Always wait for more than 5 minutes to see the GP no matter what time of day it is. Extremely difficult to get an appointment within 1 week of an econsult and even more difficult to see the same doctor. It was much easier 10 years ago, we have better technology but longer waiting times.

We are aware that there can be a wait for appointments, however since the introduction of the new eConsults total triage system patients are receiving appointments quicker than before. If you are unhappy with the wait with the appointment given, and feel it is more urgent we would strongly recommended calling the surgery to try and get something earlier.

    The Dr I saw listened to me and didn't rush me as I was with her longer than is usual and is trying to help with what I'm sure my symptoms are not easy to diagnose

    Had the pleasure of meeting Dr Sonal. I can honestly say, she is one Dr who actually listened, understood and referred my issue onwards. First time in a while at this practice I felt valued as a patient. Thank you Dr Sonal.

    Greeted by receptionist. Clean surroundings. Waiting time was a little late but acceptable. Dr was polite,calm and answered my numerous questions.
