    The Manor have just taken over the Kennington surgery and my first experience was fantastic. I made contact via the online form and was contacted very promptly via text with a face to face appointment. All of the staff that I spoke to - on the phone, at the surgery reception and the doctor - were friendly and helpful and follow up appointments were made promptly. I was really impressed.

    From phoning at 8.00 I was called back by a Dr just over an hour later.I was then given an appointment for the same morning.I had never met the Dr but they inspired me with confidence in the telephone consultation. The appointment was excellent.I was examined very thoroughly and the Dr gave no indication at all of pressure for time.I was given a forward plan and left 3 hours after my initial call.I have never had a less than excellent experience with any staff member.Thank you so much.

    I know that if I need to speak to a doctor, I only have two call that morning, after 8 am. The reception will ask me what the problem is and a doctor calls me back that morning. I either get advice from the doctor or get an appointment for that morning, if I need to be seen. A brilliant service.

    After a telephone triage yesterday I was given a face to face appointment at the surgery today. Compared to many friends I speak to that is an excellent service that is not provided by other GP practices in Nottinghamshire. The doctor I saw was very professional and also very kind and understanding. Her pro-active attitude towards prescribing HRT for peri-menipausal symptoms was brilliant. Again not a service other friends have experienced at other GP practices. I feel very fortunate that the Manor Surgery provide such a reliable and reactionary service and the health care professionals working there are enthusiastic, professional and caring towards their patients.

    I have recently been seen for bowel problems. I was very impressed that I was able to get a triage telephone appointment the same day, that worked around my schedule. After explaining my initial symptoms to a GP, I had a blood test taken the next day and submitted further tests. Once the tests had come back, my NHS app updated me on the results. The GP called me to see me face to face (again, the day after they called). We talked through the results and what steps we needed to take next. The telephone triage has been brilliant, as has the direct messaging system and NHS app. The way the Manor Surgery used these enhancements to communicate with me is a huge improvement on when I previously used the practice (pre-COVID). Within four weeks of trying to book my first appointment, I have a likely diagnosis, have already been treated and ruled out any serious illness. This is great service and extremely quick in my eyes. Thanks to all at The Manor Surgery for investing in the processes and technology to serve its patients better.

    With all the bad press about GPs I wanted to share our amazing experience at this practice. We have had truly exceptional care especially over the last 3 years when my mother was very unwell and recent died peacefully at home thanks to excellent palliative care delivered by the team. The reception team and efficient polite and effective at navigating you to the correct service. The clinical staff are all fantastic, caring and thorough. They go above and beyond and always helped to put my mind at ease. I would highly recommend this surgery to anyone.

    This surgery have always been brilliant to our family; today was just another example. E-consult request put in after 3pm (about unwell feverish baby), called back at 4pm, appointment 4.45pm with lovely and thorough paramedic, back in car with antibiotics from next door pharmacy by 5.15pm.

    I can't praise the doctor enough. It really felt like I was being taken seriously, with anxiety and menopause issues, and I was made to feel completely normal and that I was right to talk to her. All the options were explained fully and clearly, and it made me feel in control of my health. Just being told it was ok to feel how I do was so affirming. 10/10, will talk to her again!

    Manor Surgery has an in-house physiotherapist who is fantastic. Wait times are very reasonable (less than a week for me!) Felt really reassured after my appointment and although the diagnosis could be difficult going forwards - at least I know they are there, taking my pain seriously, and willing to refer me onwards if needed. Really good.
