I went to see the practice nurse for injections. She was great. Unfortunately I waited for over half an hour, because the man who took my details, failed to log me into the system! All was well in the end, despite his incompetence.

The service was Good and there was only a short waiting time. The staff were friendly and welcoming

I’m appalled at having to wait 2 weeks for an appointment, and to speak to a doctor of my choice is impossible. They do not recognise or try to help anyone who is not computer literate or doesn’t own a computer lots of things you request you are told to use a computer to request. Receptionists are very rude and patronising. I am 70 and my husband 80, things aren’t easy for us. It stops my husband from going to the surgery . However when I do get to talk to a doctor they are all very helpful and sympathetic .

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry you are disappointed with our appointment set up. May I please advise you that we have on average 30 appointments per day, every day across all our clinical team. If patients are requesting to see a particular clinician this may create a longer wait time, due to patient demand. Each doctor has a set number of appointments per day for patient care and safety. I am sorry you have not had a good experience with our reception team who are trained to a high standard. We would be happy to help you without a computer I understand not everyone will want to use electronic devices, and I would not want anything to stop you attending the practice in person. I do appreciate your positive comments about our doctors and will ensure that they are made aware of this at the next practice meeting. The staff on the front dest was really friendly. The nurse was lovely as always! Quick appointment which I appreciated as I was only having a jab.

The nurse was very polite. She asked me sbout my health, checked my BP asked me about my Asthma over all dud so my health checks

I was seen ahead of my appointment time. The GP was courteous, kind, spent a lot of time explaining the process and associated issues. The nurse was similarly kind and attentive and gave me a lot of time and advice.

Firstly why is this practice only telephone appointments when covid is completely over, and everything is via telephone? Secondly, I call to ask about changing my contraception - told the nurse is on holiday and wait a month to speak to her and then was told she can’t do the procedure of changing a coil on the premises when I was originally told they still offer this service in house. I know can’t get an appointment at a family planning clinic all the way past September and haven’t managed to book one yet. Absolutely ridiculous

Good morning Lisa, Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry you have not experienced the service you expected. We will hope to address this asap. May we please inform you that for the last year we have been completely back to post covid working processes, and patients now have the choice to be seen face to face or opt for a telephone consultation which still is a very popular option for working patients. I wonder if you were not made aware of this, apologies if this is the case. Regards, Management team
