  1. Review titled Asthma Review

Rated 4 stars out of 5

I went for my asthma review today and time was given to assess and discuss. Attention was paid to my own views, wide professional knowledge was displayed giving me more reassurance. The asthma nurse was extremely proactive and it was a most successful appointment for all the afore mentioned reasons

  2. Review titled Good service terrible admin

Rated 2 stars out of 5

If you can get to see a doctor here they are good. However that is easier said than done. The admin in my experience has just got progressively worse over the years. I don't mind waiting for an appointment but you really do feel you are inconveniencing everyone concerned by asking to see a doctor. You are expected to keep ringing back to see if there is an appointment when I'd rather have one at some known point in the future, even if I have to wait. It may come as a surprise to this surgery that people work and cannot spend all day on the phone. Not only that but I was referred to an n h s app that, when I downloaded it, didn't work unless the surgery activated it yet the person on the phone who told me to download it, seemed to be oblivious to the fact the surgery had to provide a code to activate the App before I could use it. Even then after finally getting it working my repeat prescription wasn't on there anyhow! Four calls to use an App designed to avoid having to call ! I know n h s IT is famously useless but surely some kind of online booking system for a locally surgery is possible? Anything to avoid having to speak to people who treat you like a refugee in a queue for food at an internment camp. Finally what is the point of referring you with a physical ailment to the n h s 111 number when all they will do is refer you back to the GP because they cannot physically see the ailment? Could do better. And just to demonstrate how useless 'n h s' 'it' is, this review cannot contain any capital letters...including 'n h s' or even 'it'

  3. Review titled No appointments

Rated 2 stars out of 5

I was told by my GP to make an appointment after having a blood test, to discuss the results. I telephoned after the blood test today and was told that no face to face or telephone appointments were available in the next 30 days, and they did not know if an appointment would become available after that. The receptionist apologised that she could not see any available appointments, but then proceeded to say that my issue was not important anyway...perhaps I could phone back to see if an appointment may be available in the following months. Her attitude left me feeling humiliated and helpless.
