  1. Review titled Frustrating appointment system

Rated 3 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 24 April 2023

Rang at the start of the day to get an appointment was on hold for over half an hour to be told to ring back at lunch there were no appointments left, rang back bang on 12 noon again on hold for over 30 minutes to be told again there was nothing they could do I needed to call back again tomorrow. The frustrating part was while I was on hold there was no up date to tell me was number I was so I wasn't even sure if I had been cut off. I normally I don't have an issue with getting an appointment but this is happening more and more and this hold system needs addressing.

  2. Review titled Terrible appointment booking system.

Rated 3 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 22 February 2023

Appointment system is very troublesome. Trying to book an appointment means waiting on the phone for more than 30 minutes. No one who is ill should be subjected to this. When the lines open and you phone it means waiting a long time - being 36th in the queue. Spending 30mins+ on the phone is very difficult when ill. Pre booking an appointment (if you can get one) means waiting 10+ days for a phone call that is not received despite waiting all day on the appointment date. Not a missed call as phone records can show - no call was received. Consequently the appointment system is very disappointing and unsatisfactory. The secretaries make it almost impossible to see or talk to a doctor. This is not helpful at all especially if you suffer from depression as I do! The doctors are very good, helpful and understanding - when you can get through the defensive barrier of the receptionists. I am very thankful to my doctor in this surgery - its just a pity its such a difficult thing to get to see them.

  3. Review titled Great practice and always helpful

Rated 5 stars out of 5

    by Sophie L - Posted on 02 December 2022

I’ve always managed to get an appointment and think that you can call morning and afternoon is useful. Unfortunately since having my son I’ve had to visit a few times. Every time I’ve called I’ve managed to get a call back and a follow up face to face if necessary. The doctors and nurses have always been helpful. I managed to get all my sons jabs don’t at the correct times which isn’t common amongst my friends with babies. Sometimes there can be a long queue when you call but that just shows how many people call each day. Thank you.
