    Having had to contact the surgery twice last week due to poorly children I cannot praise the team enough. My calls were quickly answered, the reception staff were polite and helpful and I received appointments in a timely manner. During both consultations the GP listened to my concerns, communicated really well with the children and was very supportive. Working in an over stretched and over burdened NHS must be so tiring for all involved, but the staff at the Old School Medical Practice are doing a fabulous job.

    I have tried on two occasions in the last week to book an appointment which after a great deal of persistence (35 calls)I achieved ….the problem is the way the telephone system has been set up …which the receptionist blamed on BT which I suspect isn’t the case as most telephony systems are unique to the business and should be set up in house…The problem is calls are redirected to a messaging system which doesn’t exist …stating due to volume of calls agents are unavailable..this isn’t good enough it’s not only very expensive to keep calling but it’s putting lives at risk

    Dear Patient, Thank you for your comments. I am sorry you have experienced some issues when trying to contact the surgery this week. We have indeed been having some issues with our phone system. Alongside the cloud voice team, we have spent many hours trying to rectify this. It was then escalated due to the nature of our business, and I have been informed that it should now be working the same as it was before our recent account upgrade.
