  1. Review titled Impossible to get an appointment

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Peter - Posted on 10 December 2022

I have been trying for around 8 weeks now to get a face to face appointment. Nothing ever available to book online, and if you phone the surgery they tell you to call at 8am. But when you do, the lines are so busy you get the message 'you have dialled an incorrect number'. I need a face to face for an going condition that has already been seen by two GPs, and also a follow up from an ultra sound scan two months ago! Yet I cannot get an appointment! Appointments should be available to book online as well as over the phone. This surgery has a poor ratio of patients/GP's, clearly more GP's are needed to cope with demand.

  2. Review titled Bad GP Practice

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 11 November 2022

I feel let down by this GP Practice big time. Booking an appointment is impossible let alone seeing a GP face-to-face post Covid. It makes me wonder if this Practice should be kept open? I rang the Practice and spoke to a receptionist to book an appointment. She said that she will send a link so I can book online. The link arrived and there was no form to fill-in. Being resourceful, I went on the NHS online app where I found the same booking link. This was a relief because there was a form available. I completed the form and send. I received a reply saying someone will contact me in the next 2 days. A day later on, I received a text message saying I have to call from 8 am. So back to where I started from. The staff in this practice do not have empathy. A patient wants to see a doctor because of an ailment. The staff are there to facilitate not to put them off.

  3. Review titled This practise is terrible it is run very badly

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Pavern Gill - Posted on 28 October 2022

I called yesterday for an appointment for my 3 year old child at 8am got an appointment for 9:45 then got a text and a call from the doctors to say the doctor is sick and to re-arrange appointment for 3 in the afternoon however I'm at work that's not convenient for me I've already taken the morning off to attend the doctors the lady then after some time told me to come in today at 9:30. I go in at 9 to then be told the doctor has called in sick again it's an absolute joke none of these receptionist have no comman courtesy to call the patients and inform them the doctors sick. I then get told to wait for the head doctor for 30mins to then get called to reception and be informed he has booked my child in for a telephone consultation which is useless to me because I needed a doctor to check chest and ears to ensure it's not an infection so this head doctor could not be bothered to talk to me face to face had me waiting for him for no reason this surgery let's the NHS down there bad mannered and rude I will be registering myself and the family to another surgery!!!!

Dear Ms Gill, Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry that you are not happy with the service you have received from Ordnance Unity Centre for Health. I understand your frustration that two appointments for your child were cancelled due to GP sickness. Surgery staff do try to contact patients to advise of cancellations as soon as possible and offer alternative appointments. Again, I am sorry that the alternative appointment offered to you for your child were not convenient and I apologise that you were left feeling let down. I am happy for you to contact me directly to discuss further. Kind regards Mario Paschalides Practice Manager

  4. Review titled Poor service

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Mike - Posted on 01 July 2022

This GP surgery is gradually getting worse. They give you a call back appointment but they do not fulfil it. They then my appointment to the following Monday when I need the help as soon as possible. I have been with them for over a decade and unfortunately they are getting worse. I will find another GP surgery.
