Review titled Bad experience
Rated 1 star out of 5

The nurse lacks empathy which is surprising for a healthcare professional. Extremely blunt and just comes across as uncaring and rude. I felt extremely uncomfortable the whole appointment and regret switching to this GP already. I specified that I am trying to get diagnosed with autism, yet she gave no grace while I attempted to answer her questions and just made me feel stupid...

Me and my whole family needed to go to umrah, and well i contacted many clinics and practices however every place was asking for a price which was not within my budget at all however the oval practice offered me a very fair and cheap price considering this is a pilgrimage i think every place should learn a thing or two from the oval practice.

A great GP practice. A great friendly team from the receptionist to the doctor. I have been a patient here now for many years, and have no regrets. The doctor is very knowledgeable and helpful. I can’t fault them.

Review titled Not very good experience

Rude male receptionist staff. This is very unfortunate considering that my encounter with the doctor and nurse has been very professional. I am dreading having to make another appointment or requesting for more information given that I have to speak to the receptionist staff.

Review titled Excellent lead doctor
Rated 5 stars out of 5

This morning, I was deeply upset, feel humiliated and challenged by the doctor saying "To find another GP". I did not expect that at all because I did not say anything bad and absolutely not rude to him. I was just saying my situations, medications and bloods. I work in a medical field too so I know how to communicate and deal with people/patients with tender loving care. It was my first time to meet that doctor after 13 years registered to GP Surgery (Dewey Practice). This was my first time to consult my GP after 2 years due to my thyroid (hypothyroidism). Though I was very upset I have maintained my composure and thanked that doctor. I left the room with a heavy heart and with no plans for my thyroid issues. When the lead of GP doctor in Oval Practice seen me at the reception and noticed that I looked not happy at all, he helped me with my concerns genuinely. The Lead doctor and the staff of Oval Practice helped me and my other members of my family to register with their Practice. It was a very quick and straightforward registration. Also, he was happy to see me in his clinic and rendered assessment for my thyroid, gave medical advise and interventions for further investigations such as blood tests and scan and prescriptions. He listened attentively and understand my worries and concerns. Truly I am very grateful with the Oval Practice staff and Lead GP Doctor. I am pleased and very blessed that I have met him. This is the kind of medical staff/doctor that patients need, kind-hearted and medically competent and skilful/knowledgeable. I highly recommend to patients the Oval Practice Thank you very much for looking after your patients very well.

The Doctors and staff are very polite and always ready to help. They always send a reminder to me to attend an appointment. And also do a follow up reminder if it is for the to do a self booking for blood test and other referrals.

Review titled Best Practice

by BEST PRACTICE!! - Posted on 28 February 2023
Having used my fair share of practices, this was one of the Best practices I have encountered. They always answer the phone very quickly, there is no putting on hold and waiting in a queue like many other practices. It is extremely easy to get appointments, you call up and you get an appointment within a week. The Gentleman who works at the front is very efficient, every time I need anything he always helps. The Doctor is amazing too, always listens to my concerns and is very knowledgeable. This is by far one of the best practices, 5 Star Service

Review titled Impossible to get appointment - Rude Receptionist
Rated 1 star out of 5

I have tried so hard to book an appointment - don't hear back from them. The receptionist asks a lot of unnecessary/personal questions, its almost like you have to fight to get an appointment. I kindly reminded him after 5 minutes into the call ' that I would rather just speak to a doctor - don't feel comfortable telling all about my symptoms' - he replied 'oh you are the doctor now yeah, you must know best then' and he then went on to say - I can't see the doctors there because my address is out of range (when I literally registered couple of weeks go). I live in the same post code as them and 5 minutes walking distance from their practice. He said, you will get a letter, you can't come to this practice, find yourself a new GP. The worst GP experience, I have ever had.
