  1. Review titled Very difficult to get hold of

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 01 February 2024

Got to the front of the phone queue and they hung up, had to call back and went right to the back of the queue, and the reception staff are very unhelpful when you go in so not sure if it’s policy to hang up on every few calls to keep the numbers down as they clearly don’t want you coming in.

  2. Review titled Prompt response to e consult

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 28 December 2023

I was getting increasing joint pain for one year and felt I needed advice and a diagnosis. I listed my problems and treatments I had tried.Within24hrs I had a phone call offering me an appointment for assessment with a musculoskeletal practitioner the same afternoon. She was very welcoming and professional and listened to me. Her questions were relevant and non judgemental. I am a 79 yr old woman. She examined me thoroughly, but with care and sensitivity. She explained my diagnosis and treatment / exercise plan. We discussed options and I have an appointment to see her in 3 weeks. I felt relieved, grateful and optimistic

  3. Review titled Good experience

Rated 5 stars out of 5

    by David J - Posted on 05 October 2023

I raised a non urgent request via the online form to request a consultation at the Pall Mall surgery at 8am in the morning and received a phone call just before 4pm the same day from the triage nurse asking if I was available for a 4:30pm appointment which luckily I was. The surgery waiting room was almost empty when I arrived at 4:30pm, very different to pre covid I might add and after I short wait I was seen by a very helpful and polite medical practitioner. Within minutes I was prescribed some medication so I’m very happy with the whole experience.

  4. Review titled Good doctors, rubbish system.

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 04 October 2023

The system seems designed to keep patients away from doctors. The booking system lists all the things a doctor won't see you for. Try to make an appointment with a nurse - none available. Visit the surgery and the waiting room is empty, go to the area waiting to see a nurse - busy. I gave up and consulted 111, they said you should see your GP. The staff are helpful but the system is worse than useless.

I saw one of the female Doctors with my daughter. The doctor was very friendly and explained everything we needed to know. The consultation was very patient led and we came out satisfied with our experience. Thank you

  6. Review titled Amazing doctors

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Emma Nash - Posted on 09 June 2023

You genuinely couldn’t ask for more from your doctors. From the care navigators to the doctors and nurses. Every time I go into the practice for me or for my children I am met with kind, caring and thorough professionals. Especially with the children I feel they are such a heart warming appointments. They make me and the kids feel so at ease and cover everything possible to make sure the children are getting what they need. I can’t believe some of the reviews that have been left for this practice. I would very happily recommend this GP to anyone with confidence.

  7. Review titled Excellent service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I can't fault the supportive and friendly doctors. The knowledgeable nurses who are equally as friendly. The care navigators who worked so hard.

  8. Review titled Unhelpful reception

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 25 April 2023

Supposedly care navigators, unhelpful and rude. Missing allergy tests for daughter, care navigator was dismissive and unhelpful, repeatedly saying nit in notes. Asked if doctor could be spoken too as tests were due weeks ago, was told no go and fill in an e consult form... back to square one for us. Very frustrated and upset as felt completely fobbed off. My feedback would be try to see the bigger picture and what is going on for people that use your service. A simple note to the doctor asking if it has been missed off notes would have sufficed. Thank you for ensuring that more stress added to our week and a longer wait to find answers, whilst we are already struggling!

  9. Review titled What happened to our doctors?

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Vicki Loftus - Posted on 11 April 2023

As a family we have been with this practice for 30years. Today my husband tried to make an appointment by phone because it was urgent to be told after a 30minute wait to go on line. We have now resorted to 111and hopefully will be seen at the hospital. As a family we are so frustrated at this new practice. It has become increasingly difficult to see a doctor and in the end you give up trying.

  10. Review titled Disregard to Safety of Patients

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 29 October 2022

My wife took an 90 year old relative for his Covid vaccine. The doctors surgery would have been aware of my father’s medical history which includes being treated for a life limiting illness amongst other medical conditions. My wife and father were shocked to find on arrival that there was a queue both ways on the stairs from reception to the first floor.l that barely moved. People were packed like sardines, many without masks including a staff member that was trying to squeeze between the up and down queues. When my wife said to the member of staff “This is ridiculous” she answered “It is isn’t it!” Bearing in mind this a medical setting and clearly the current cohort of people receiving boosters are the more vulnerable group in society the conditions in my view bordered on pure negligence and should have been better managed.

Thank you for your comments, feedback is extremely important to us, and we do take all comments on board. We are sorry for the experience your father had whilst attending for him covid vaccination. We do have the facility for patients who are unable to stand, to come and sit in the waiting room, whilst the queue moves along. I am sorry your father was not offered this. In future, please ask him to let us know, and we will accommodate his needs. Mask wearing is optional, and although we recommend this, we cannot enforce this. The queue is just one way up the stairs, however when some patients use the lift this can cause some management. Once again, we are sorry if you felt the system wasn't well managed.
