  1. Review titled Unhappy experience

Rated 1 star out of 5

I supposed to call the reception for booking an appointment, but after 2 calls for 35 minutes waiting time I couldn't reach the receptionist. Another time there were to rut speaking with me at the phone saying that there are too busy. I don't recommend to anyone this practice because the treatment needs very long waiting time to be resolved. And who knows if it will be the correct decision?

  2. Review titled Receptionist not helpful

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Malcolm - Posted on 10 June 2024

Problems ordering repeat prescription, one of the receptionists would not let me get a word in only making me more stressed, diagnosed with cancer and needed medication for the weekend, no medication for the weekend so was in discomfort, the receptionist was terrible she never gave me a chance to explain that I had done everything that was requested. Feel better now I have changed doctors.

I was recently seen and I had a great experience. I was treated with respect and was made to feel welcome and valued. I had a very positive experience!

  4. Review titled Amazing professional - Nurse

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Today, April 30, 2024, I was seen again by an excellent professional (you feel confident in her explanation, because you can tell she knows what she's talking about), she explains everything calmly, pays attention to us when we're talking, a incredible human being (not to mention the good humor), thank you for your attention to me.

  6. Review titled Superlative practice of medicine

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Subsequent to econsults, received expeditious response, and appointments made to see doctor within a day or two. Doctors were courteous friendly and very professional and thorough. A most reassuring experience

  7. Review titled Make getting a prescription as hard as possible

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 22 January 2024

The human element is being phased out from this practice. Doctors don't want to see patients, they make it as awkward and convoluted as possible just to get a prescription even for a chronic condition. The staff won't give ground on this or cut people any slack. I don't see the point in a practice like this even existing anymore. They don't treat people like people. We're not machines hooked up to AI yet but this is how we are treated now.

  8. Review titled The worst practice

Rated 1 star out of 5

Impossible to get an appointment, after providing a lengthy e-consultation online I still got a text message asking the same question, and never hear from a doctor. The receptionists are also very abrupt and rude. If you ever manage to get an appointment to attend the surgery you wonder why the reception is so empty, you’ll see no one in waiting room, you wonder why?? I had no choice but changing my surgery. Since I’ve left Panton practice I’m so happy that I can speak to anyone on the phone and make an appointment. In my opinion Panton practice should be shut down.

  9. Review titled First class experience.

Rated 5 stars out of 5

The appointment was arranged with a Nurse Practitioner and it was done within 4 hours of my initial e-enquiry. She was welcoming, she listened carefully, gave clear advice and great reassurance. Super service.

  10. Review titled Poor service and unable to get appointments

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Kevin Craine - Posted on 25 August 2023

The Panton practice has been deteriorating over the last few years. It’s impossible to get an appointment you can never speak to anyone. Only option is to complete an online triage form. I then received an sms to make an appointment and was advised next available appointment 4 weeks. I’m absolutely disgusted with the way the practice does not want to see patients anyone. I’m currently awaiting investigations at Bournemouth Hospital next appoint there is 9 months to have heart tests. The NHS is failing all patients and people are going undiagnosed as a result. The Panton Practice has a duty of care to its patients and it’s failing in this

Dear Mr Craine Thank you for your feedback, we had discussed the elements of your comments on the telephone on Thursday 24th August. I believed at that point I gave you an explanation and offered an appointment slightly earlier than the one with the specific GP you requested. Also on that call I was unable to answer the questions around the long wait for the NHS hospital appointment. I had passed all your comments you mentioned in your telephone call to Dr Graham. If you feel you wish to discuss your matter in more depth, please do write to us and we will investigate further, or as you remarked in our conversation you were going to write to the Dorset ICB. Kind Regards Jo Legrave Practice Manager
