Review titled Non one listens or cares
Rated 2 stars out of 5

After 13 years of complaining about severe pain in the shoulder after an accident, finally an operation has repaired the damage which was getting worse. In spite of my insistence that it was a tendon issue, I was ignored and treated for muscle injury after an xray showed no broken bones. Years of frustration at the hands of a system that allows physios to treat you without a full diagnosis and ignore your requests for a full scan or at least an ultra sound scan. Finally, due to the pain in the arm caused by wrongly applied physio exercises and a general weakening of the arm, I was given an ultrasound scan which showed a 2cm by 2cm tear in the bicep ligament. The consultant surgeon asked me why I had not had this treated earlier?...very good question. During the op, the damage was found to be much worse resulting in a rotator cuff repair as well as repairing the torn ligament. All of these years of suffering when a simple ultrasound scan at the beginning would have shown the problem. Thank you National Health Service. The stupid AI checker will not allow more than one capital letter per word.

Review titled Refused to see me for an appointment about pregnancy
Rated 1 star out of 5

I contacted the doctors through the online form early in the morning and explaind what the issue was that has occured for over a week now. A few hours later I recieved a text message saying that there was nothing that can be done and my last bloods showed that my hormone levels are normal. ( the doctor told me at the time that this changes all the time and is not reliable from month to month). Further more the NHS website said to contact the GP, as early as 3 days for the issue that I've got. So because of this I called to find out why I couldn't see a doctor, as I am concerned about my health issue. The receptionists response was absolutely absurd, rude and uncalled for, she laughed at me and stated, that she failed to see why I was concenred. I responded with, the NHS website told me to call the doctors and this has been going on for over a week. She then hung up on me. I am in the process of changing doctors and when did receptionists go to medical school! I was left feeling as though I'd done something wrong by trying to seek help.

Review titled A professional, clean, modern practice. 5 Stars.
Rated 5 stars out of 5

Easy parking within the surgery grounds, and very good access to the building with two very good entry points. Access to a good ‘overworked’ pharmacy that is suffering from the Uk wide 'under supply' of pharmaceutical items. The pharmacy has been let down by its third party 'text when ready service,’ which it is aware of, and remedying. The pharmacy still provides a very good service. Both in person, as well as through telephone communication, I have always found the Park Surgery admin staff very helpful. The Dr’s and Nurses are dedicated to their profession, which reflects well within the practice. The Park Surgery call back service has worked every time for me, as has the online service for ordering repeat prescriptions. Latterly I’ve had reason to overburden this excellent practice, and not once have they let me down (their referral and follow up system for contacting consultants is second to none.) For those who drive; the Nafferton Practice is also a brilliant back up that is able to offer appointments upon request, as well as issue prescriptions through their pharmacy. I would urge those who do find fault with the practice to consult with them to sort out their grievances, bearing in mind that every practice throughout the Nhs system has had to contend with the constraints of two years (rolling onwards) of the Covid Virus. Patients, and patience is definitely an odd mix when illness happens. We are all human ... Yours Aye Gratefully ...

Review titled Horrific practice
Rated 1 star out of 5

Drs are incompetent, they cannot work with other NHS services and are unaware of what other services in the NHS provide. Well known joke of a surgery. Nurses and reception staff are great but god help you if you are unlucky enough to get a Dr. 13-14 times I’ve been with the same issue, told to try an NHS service by the Drs twice now, a service that has twice said they don’t / can’t with help and the Drs need to sort it out. Referral to specialist wasn’t made after being told it would be, took 3 weeks and yet another appointment with a lovely nurse who actually looked at the issue and made the referral. This Drs is grossly incompetent on a significant amount of levels.
