I never get the change to my medication for a long term illness on time and so I have had to go to a hospital in central London to get it myself - it took them months before they made any change. I have also never been able to get an appointment and most people are given a date in 1-2 months time despite it being urgent.

I am very sorry to hear of your negative experience with us. As your feedback has been left anonymously, we are unable to investigate what happened and provide a more in-depth response. To this end, I would encourage you to contact us (on 02034746498, by walking into the Practice, or online at www.thepracticeat188.nhs.uk) to arrange a convenient time to discuss your complaint further. It is worth noting that all requests received by the Practice are triaged by a Senior GP. Where the request is determined to need a routine (non-urgent) appointment, this is booked within two weeks. All repeat prescription requests are issued within three working days of the request being received. I have to be visited by skin specialist and do the allergy test as soon as possible as my GP and also 111 and watford hospital told me.

Today, I submitted an e-consult because I had run out of my blue inhaler and desperately needed it as I was struggling to breathe. I received an email instructing me to contact the receptionist. When I did, she told me she could book me an appointment, but it would be after one week. I explained that I couldn't wait that long and asked her to double-check with the doctor, stressing that I might have an episode. The receptionist insisted that there was nothing she could do, as she had clear orders from the doctor. When I asked what I should do if I had a panic attack, she told me to wait. This left me extremely frustrated. We turn to the GP for help in such situations, but I felt rudely dismissed and uncared for. How can you ask someone to wait? This practice is waste of nhs money it should be shut down as the only think they say is wait and also with an attitude

We've been at this surgery for decades. They don't need me to tell them the place doesn't look great, in fact little changed since we joined in 1980. But brickwork doesn't diagnose things, clinicians do. Just had an excellent session with the senior doctor at the practice, reviewing my various conditions and medication. Used to do this annually before Covid, this is the first time since. There was no specific problem, I just wanted him to look at where I was, my latest blood tests, my medication. He went through everything in great detail, was very reassuring, changed some medication and, for me, benchmarked a day on which I could say, at that point, everything was as much as it should be for someone in their 8th decade. Of course GP's are run off their feet and often don't have time for this sort of thing, but it is very valuable -- much better nudging people towards remaining well, rather than repairing them when they aren't.
