    I rang at 8.30am and was 28th in the queue, so requested a call back as I was at work and cannot be on the phone for that long, I received a call back at 9.45am only to be told there was no appointments left. what is the point of a call back system when there will be no appointments left by the time they ring back. I also asked if I could come in on a Saturday morning only to be told there is no doctors working Saturday mornings!!! asked about the hub at Albany house and was told this is only for infections! cannot prebook appointments to attend at a later date! The problem doesn't help when the doctors do not work every day of the week some only work 1-2 days. The receptionist told me to ring the next day but I said that the same thing would happen again and all the appointments will be gone. I shouldn't have to wait until mid July when I have got Annual leave from work to have to physically go up the doctors to make an appointment. System does not work! and the worst thing is nobody is bothered.

    Dear patient, thank you for your comments. We have recently introduced a new telephone system where patients can request a call back. This function allows you to retain your current position in the queue and you are not disadvantaged by using the call back function. We appreciate how frustrating it is for patients when appointments have all been taken early on during the day. Depending upon the reason for the call, we may have been able to signpost you to other services. We would be happy to discuss this with you and explain the systems if this would help.   2. Review titled No Empathy at all

    Cannot get an appointment to see any doctors. Cannot get any help for 5 symptoms of diabetes or Thyroid symptoms. I rang two days ago and was told by reception that I would have to wait until April. Disgusted. Please don't bother joining this surgery.

    Absolutely disgusted with this practice. I’ve only been here a few weeks and wish I could leave. I have severe mental health problems and under a psychiatrist and the GP has decided to mess around with my medication despite the psychiatrist wanting my medication prescribed as a repeat prescription. Receptionist did not explain their produce and just kept saying the same thing! I got annoyed, which I shouldn’t have, but that’s how bad they are. Do not waste your time with them. Awful practice and appalling staff.

    I called at 8.30am on the dot. Got put in the queue and was pleased that I was no 19. I was really pleased as 30 mins later I was no 1 then I got disconnected and had to call back to be placed in the queue at no 29 , I waited in the queue until I eventually got down to no 2 by this time I had been on the phone for 65 mins, I had to hang up and go to work. This happens so regularly I am at my wit's end I haven't been able to see a Dr about my disability and current mental health.

    Went for asthma review, the nurse was fantastic. Very professional and understanding. Made me feel very welcome and comfortable. Ten out of ten.

    On the phone for 45 minutes. Finally get through. Ask for a routine doctors appointment. Not urgent, just some time this year. Told that the surgery don't do face to face appointments any more. You have to ring on the day you want one. I explained its not urgent. I can't spend 45 minutes on the phone every day trying to get an appointment. I work full time. Its ridiculous not to be able to book a face to face appointment for the future. She said she can only book telephone call backs. How can I be examined over a telephone? Absolutely ridiculous. I have a history of cancer, feel unwell and need to see a doctor. I am so upset

    My parents moved to Wellingborough approx. 12 months ago. They joined this practice and unfortunately since they have both need attention from the professionals at the service. Every time from booking an appointment to seeing the required professional they have been dealt with efficiently , with politeness ,care and professionalism , and if required transferred to a specialist service . I cannot fault them at all and just wish I was with the practice . They even cleared up minor errors from my parents old practice and nothing has seemed to much bother or hassle for them at all. well done Redwell medical.

    Absolutely shocking practice and processes. Cant make appointments in advance, have to call up at 0830 to try and get an appointment, i was on the phone 0830 on the dot, 33rd in queue, when i finally got through was told sorry all appointments are gone and to try again tomorrow. I read some people think the receptionists are rude, yes they are, but all GP receptionists are rude, it must be a requirement of the role. Friendly - nope, helpful - nope, congrats you get the job

    I telephoned Redwell at 12.35pm, number 1 in the queue, but 25 minutes later I finally got to speak to someone, and when I questioned why it took that long to answer when I was number 1 in the queue she said "there hasn't been anyone on reception because we were at lunch" really!! So you do shut for lunch then? This surgery is getting worse than ever. My advice would be to go and register somewhere else.
