Rang for apt and said I was not coping, 6 weeks til apt.....never patients waiting so why such an unacceptable wait.....ring on morning for apt.....impossible to get through

Given an appt by polyclinic to change dressing. Needed to cancel as I had dressing changed in an emergency. Tried to cancel appt but they never answered phone.

The receptionist r so un helpful their seems to be lots of staff doing who knows what and no patients it's impossible to get an appointment then they have the hub which none of the staff can book they give you a number which never gets answered how they get away with calling it a service is a mystery

Despite making numerous attempts to get an appointment I have not been successful. I am continually being told to phone by 8am, you get all lines are busy, if you get through you are on hold on average of 20-30 minutes, no information is given on where you are in the queue. When, if you are lucky, to speak to someone there are no appointments left & to phone Nhs, go to A & E or a polyclinic. All this while you already feel unwell. I am on antidepressants so this does not help with my mental health.

I had such a lovely experience today seeing the practise nurse. She was friendly, listened to me and was professional at all times. Thank you!

Phoned my GP for an appointment for my husband. They had none so the receptionist suggested an appointment through The Hub. She said it was important for him to be seen.Got there at the correct time to be told it was a phone appointment. It was no such thing as no mention of phones was made,ever. I would have refused anyway as you cannot assess,or dress, a skin tear over the phone.He is diabetic so my receptionist wanted him seen, face to face. The woman refused to let us in,saying he would be called. He wasn't! Why couldn't he be seen as we were outside the door? This is very uncaring. Why are they there?
