Satisfied with treatment. GP you wish to see is not always in system to book again with. No continuity also unfortunately fall down on blood test service side. Need to have earlier ready availability than month ahead. Very bad waiting time when you phone and are kept waiting and waiting for Someone to answer 20th in queue for example

Dear Patient, Thank you for your feedback. I am pleased to hear you are satisfied with your treatment. Unfortunately the pressures within the NHS have an effect on all Primary care clinics, this has therefore resulted in our blood clinics being busier than usual. We are hopeful that over time the clinic waiting times will reduce back to normal. In regards to the telephone lines we are in the process of updating our telephone system to include a call back system in which the patient can select to be called back when they reach position 1 in the queue, this is designed to suit patient needs so that they are not waiting on the phone longer than they need to. I waited in a queue at reception for 10 minutes and I was still only 3rd in line Nearly missed my appointment even though I arrived 10 minutes early. This is not an isolated incident it is a regular occurrence unfortunately. Time things were changed at this practice.

We can't always guarantee that a patient at the desk will only want to check in. There may be complicated issues that our reception team are dealing with at the desk which may take a while. For this reason we do offer different ways of checking in for your appointment such as: - The patient check in screen - An appointment reminder with a link to check in online - QR code next to the patient check in screen and in reception to scan and check in. If you would like to discuss this further or be shown how to use the other ways of checking in please do contact the management team at the surgery and we will be more than happy to help. Menopause has been a real struggle, and I've experienced so many more problems than the 'hot sweats' folk tell you about. I'm still on a journey and haven't quite got the medication right yet, but the doctor listens and is so supportive. Together we have tried different options and when something isn't working, she finds alternatives. I feel my care is personalised to my needs and I am involved with decisions about my health. It would however be helpful if the acute trust could have responded to her advice and guidance request (6 weeks) instead of her having to chase. The Ryan Medical Centre have been our family doctors for 4 generations. My grandparents were looked after by them, then my parents and now me and my family. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the practice.

Thank you for ,once again, helping me with my personal health needs. Had a recent face to face appt with my GP. From my initial telephone call found staff very helpful. Timely appointment, seen promptly at appointment too. Thank you once again.

The Doctor was helpful and informative, helping me understand the position and risks to my health. She listened carefully and addressed my concerns on taking long term medication. All the practice staff I encountered were efficient, helpful and patient. Each knew their role and where they fitted into the service. My only problems were in accessing the necessary services of blood tests and 24hr monitor which were unavailable within the practice at the time. This proved time consuming and frustrating causing considerable delay.

I attended for a follow up appointment to check on the effects of my medication and a general health check. The examination was very thorough. Booking the appointment was easy and everyone I have had contact with within the practice have always very pleasant and helpful.

My 70th review was conducted by a very competent member of the medical staff she listened to my recent visits to the surgery and Preston hospital then asked revalant questions and gave me advice to improve my wellbeing I left the appointment feeling that it was very worthwhile and relaxed meeting where my input was taken on board and good advice was given

I’ve experienced a great service from this practice over the last 2 weeks. The receptionists have been been understanding and gave me what felt like the right options for my situation. The nurse was very nice and and it felt like she was on my side and we were trying to fix it together; a follow up appointment a few days later made me feel like I was getting the best service and had every chance at getting better
