Review titled Negligent

I have not received any medication for a serious underlying health condition for three months now. My surgery is aware that there this a supply issue which I accept and understand. Unfortunately, I have received no help or any advice from this surgery about alternatives or managing my condition in these circumstances, despite frequent requests. In depseration, I have sought advice from a charity and am taking alternative 'medication' which I am buying from Amazon. I am now experiencing increased pain and discomfort and need to see a clinician. Last night, I was once again advised to go home and advised to use an app to make an appointment this morning. I also have type one diabetes and made a request in May for a replacement blood glucose testing kit because the one I had had just broken. I finally received the replacement in late August, having gone four months without testing my blood sugar. I am awaiting antibiotics which I was told on Monday evening that I needed by some pharamcist they got me to call and, as yet, have received no prescription nor any medication - it is now Thursday morning and nobody seems to know what is going on with that either. Some time ago, I even received a message on the silly Evergreen app that this surgery uses saying that an appointment has been made for me but that they are unable to advise when the appointment would be!

After almost two weeks final had chance to book appointment online, unfortunately in half way to writing my problem somebody kik me off and the system showed offline. Why they play with the patient? How we can report this problem to management when on GP website is not side to do complain.

Review titled Substandard service
Rated 1 star out of 5

I was seen by a nurse at the Sidings today who was absolutely horrible. At the start of the consultation she printed a letter and shoved it under my nose accusing me of missing an appointment with a consultant, which was not true and was evidenced in the second page of the same letter- she did not apologise for this. She was dismissive of my health complaints and told me to be quiet so she could could type... she did not offer any help with my actual problem today and simply decided to write to my consultant- passing the buck! When i enquired if she could at least do some bloods or anything else to help me while i am waiting to see a consultant, which can take months, she walked towards the door and opened it saying she had other people to see and told me to leave while disclosing medical info about me in front of other patients waiting outside the door! I suffer from multiple chronic long-term conditions and am under the care of various consultants. However, when unwell there's no one else i can go to other than my GP surgery but it seems they do not care at all! the management of patients with long term conditions is appalling at the Sidings now.

problem with registration. the ladies at registration don't answer the phone. The answering machine says to make an appointment online, but they are always offline. when I try to register for a selected doctor, I get information that there are no more places available, and I was second in line and the system was offline. Ladies lie, it's unpleasant.

Review titled Infected wound and still told to call back tomorrow….
Rated 1 star out of 5

Have recently had an operation and one of my incisions is infected and painful - tried to get an urgent appointment but told to ring back tomorrow - just got to hope it doesn’t go sceptic in the meantime. This surgery needs to be investigated before there is a serious incident!

Review titled Lovely Nurse

13.03.23 Attended today for a blood test. The nurse was early, down to earth and friendly. I didn't feel rushed or have questions fired at me. Blood tests were done very quickly and efficiently.

Review titled Completely incompetent
Rated 1 star out of 5

I have been registered at The Sidings for around three years now and can honestly say that this is the worst medical practice I have ever dealt with. Every single time I have an appointment scheduled, there is an issue. Today I had a phone call scheduled with the GP at 12:40 to review my medication. It is now 2:30pm and I have still received no call. This happens every time I have a telephone appointment scheduled. When you call the surgery to chase up this issue, you will be told that they ‘tried to call you but there was no answer’, even though my phone has been next to me, on loud, with full signal, since 12:00 and I have no missed calls. Physical appointments aren’t much better. My last appointment was booked completely incorrectly so I turned up in person as the letter stated, to be told it should have been a telephone appointment so I should go home and they will call me. The exact same scenario happened as it did today. If you are looking for a GP surgery in Boston, please steer clear of this place.
