    Have been a patient here for many years, always incredibly responsive to phone calls/e consultations. Latest episode was in relation to a ?uti following a surgical procedure. Sample provided, antibiotics prescribed and picked up within 2 hours. Very caring & professional reception/nursing and medical staff

    New medication prescribed by hospital and GP notified (9th Jan). Hospital chased practice again (16th Jan). Called practice (20th Jan) as medication still not showing in the system and I need to evidence that I have been prescribed the medication for airport security as the medication is in a syringe. Rang surgery and explained this only to be told it could take 4 days for the prescription to be loaded (the paperwork is in a pile but not actioned). Explained I fly in 5 days and there is no room for error. But the process has to be followed..... In touch with the hospital to see if they can help.

    I was shocked and had the most unpleasant experience with a manager at Spa Surgery. What I witnessed in terms of leadership, when directing other staff was appalling. Spa Surgery facebook talks about small acts of kindness but the behaviour of staff is not in sync. I would suggest some training on ethics and integrity.

    I visited the practice on Monday 9 September with an issue regarding blood testing.The young man (Care Navigator) was dealing with a long queue of people which he did with patience and consideration for each person.He was very helpful and resolved my request whilst I was there.Thank you

    I needed to check my skin problem so I visited the Parmacist for advice at Cohens Chemist. She was very helpful and directed me to the GP surgery. The care navigators were supportive and found me a suitable appointment. I visited the GP and her student GP who were very empathetic and they did a careful examination explaining the issues and treatment. I am very grateful to you all. Thank you

    I used the Econsult system to contact Spa Surgery and had a speedy and professional response each time I used it. The pharmacy staff, the receptionist, the medics and the "behind the scenes" team (via text, phone and in person) all played their part in providing me with a very streamlined and impressive service.

    During May and June I attended the practice and was seen in turn by a locum GP and a senior GP and 2 physiotherapists and diagnosed with PMR. Along the way blood tests and Xrays were arranged quickly. The receptionists team were efficient and seem well trained and cooperative. Appointments were fitted in with little delay. The impression was one of team work. Full marks to Spa Surgery.

    I'm sorry but my personal experience of a manager at Spa Surgery was way below what I'd expect from a professional manager. Deliberately set out to upset people, to try and belittle them and gets genuine happiness from this. Horrible behaviour. Apparently, 'the Spa Surgery strives to create a caring environment' in order to achieve that you need the right staff.

    Thankyou to the nurse who responded to my e-consultation, within 2hr. I was seen at the surgery following a telephone conversation, where I was reassured, given advice on my ear infection. Prescription sent to my local pharmacy, with no delay. Thank you :)
