    After weeks of calling, completing on line forms seeing a paramedic & a clinician I was finally diagnosed with a chest infection & given antibiotics for a week, instructed that should I still feel unwell to see a GP to arrange a chest X-ray spent nearly an hour on the phone again completed the online form Twice requested a call back… then was sent the old chestnut of their generic message to call 111 due to them being at full capacity…. It’s a complete joke of a system…. We don’t have receptionists anymore there are called “Care Navigators” who makes this stuff up…. Meanwhile people are becoming more frustrated more unwell & more needing a system that is actually patient friendly….a couple of GP’s would be much appreciated aswell…

    Since become Stanmore Medical Centre, this surgery has become a farce. Booking an appointment always used to be a simple process and I never had to wait very long. Been with this surgery for almost 30 years. Now I just want to leave. Having to book online is a nightmare. It’s suppose to make things more accessible apparently but it’s Saturday morning and I’ve just tried, only to get a warning that their ‘Forms’ booking service is only open Monday to Friday 9-5. Hahaha. What the actual!! I really have nothing good to say about this surgery now. I used to be the envy of all my friends and family before Stanmore took over but now, hahaha. This surgery is just a joke. Nothing they have done to ‘improve’ things has made life better for the customer. I think they are just trying to drive people away to go private as their methods are exasperating. My HRT should be used continuously, but it’s so difficult to get an appointment that twice now, I have needed up having to miss over a weeks worth of treatments, because I can’t get in to speak to a doctor. I even have to go in and take my own blood pressure before hand, which I do; all the doctor should then have to do is check my history, check my blood pressure and prescribe, but no! I had to have an appointment to speak with a doctor. And having to do this means I then have to be on standby for hours on the day that the doctor is going to ring me. Therefore my working day is made to come second to theirs. My time, second to theirs. Everything about this process is so very very wrong.

    This practice is an absolute disgrace. I’ve been trying to get an appointment for over a week. Online booking systems are down and impossible to get through to anyone over the phone. Literally have no idea how to access any care with this GP. May god help all the patients at this GP to receive appropriate and timely care. Never found it so difficult to get an appointment

    Have been trying to get an appointment for myself and my children. Been trying for 3 days now, only for the online form to stop working within 30min of opening saying to try again thr next day at 9am, to which I did and it wasnt working then. They might aswell disengaged their phone lines as its forever busy however when inside the surgery not one member of staff is actually on the phone. This place is dreadful, appalling,horrendous and more. The online System is beyond ridiculous its forever saying to try again the next day. The staff are quite rude aswell.

    This surgery on countless occasions does not submit prescriptions to the pharmacy for my son to have access to suitable formula due to an allergy. Due to their negligence and poor practice in doing the most simple of tasks, it results in my 6 month old son going hungry. I wish I could say this is the first time it has happened, but it is a constant issue. This surgery is truly awful.

    I am absolutely appalled with the service. Firstly, they didn't answer my requests on Klik correctly. When I followed up via phone call I received an appointment date in 15 days time. I've been unable to walk for 3 weeks and now they're expecting me to be in pain for a further 2 weeks Furthermore, it appears that they are more interested commercialising their practices rather than health and well-being of patients. I asked for a note from the doctor for my employees about my injury and I was asked to pay 25 pounds for the letter.

    Just trying to get an appointment is appalling - stumbled at the first step. From June 2021 (as mentioned over the phone), patients, who can, must use, online, Klinik to book an appointment. It opens from 9 on working days. It seems to close pretty quickly like about 20 minutes. I have found on numerous times that after putting in my issue(s) that the next page shows that Klinik has closed for the day. I called yesterday.. I was quite promptly 'given up on' after just requesting an appointment (but a bit mystified being offered something at Belmont medical centre).

    Their spot system is ridiculous. You can only fill in a form format thing on the morning. We did this for my daughter appt. We waited 45 minutes then to be we would have to wait another 30 minutes. All for a referral letter when they could have done it over the phone instead of eating out time.

    I sent an appointment request on the Klinik system on 11th May. Before that, at so many instances, the system was down. The receptionists do not make appointments even if the system is down and just have a standard answer to wait until the system opens up. I received an appointment for 5th June, that too, after I sent a message that my request had not been followed up. The receptionist said there is a long waiting list so that's the way it is! I am really disappointed and feel let down. The Crowshott Avenue practice reception services are worse and there is no understanding or proper answers. I had to repeat my birthdate thrice during one appointment in a roomful of patients, literally repeating it so loud as the staff couldn't get it. Where is the professionalism? I am contacting other GP practices as I need to move to another surgery.

    Been trying to get an appointment for weeks. The website never works and when i call the receptionist she says it will shortly open up but it hasn't. I may have a very serious condition and feel so dejected with this. Also everything is so piecemeal you have to get an appointment for each symptom as the doctors cannot handle more than one area of symptoms. It's ridiculous and no wonder so many patients leaving this practice. The rating was abysmal for years. I have witnessed blatant racism and bad treatment by a member of staff to an elderly patient who cried by how badly she was treated. Really sad. Also to get an empathic dr for a painful procedure is challenging.
