went with a serious back issue and struggling to walk and work, was promised a referral and MRi scan to look at a herniated spinal disc with radial pain and a numb foot. 4 weeks later I haven't heard anything back... This practice should be closed, the doctors sitting on their buts getting paid loads and do absolutely nothing.... waste of time this place should be closed... they dont care

The reception staff whom are the first point of contact for this GP are terrible, in particular the Philippines receptionist, she has a very cold and rude phone manner, is very impolite and refuses to give any appointments. I have just had surgery and urgently needed a prescription for painkillers, she refused to help me and told me to email, I explained it was urgent and the weekend is coming and she said it’s my fault which left me speechless and intimidated. She was very rude and has left me feeling upset. The doctors also do not try to help much and make your symptoms or illness seem generic, when I request blood tests they do the basic ones and not the ones I need as I have health issues.

Where do I start??? I tried to cancel a telephone appointment I had. I telephoned two days in a row held on for over 30 mins one day and the next held on for over 40 mins. No one answered the phone despite being first in the queue. I then went in to cancel the said appointment and the doctor still phoned me. Clearly completely incompetent admin staff. I then tried to complain but sat waiting for 20 minutes in the surgery and no one came to see what the problem was. Trying to get an appointment you have to know you’re going to be ill 3 weeks before. It’s such a shame the admin staff let them down as the doctors and nurses I have always found really helpful.

All the doctors, receptionists and all the members working for the surgery are very polite, humble, caring and always try to make the patients satisfied. Very pleased with the service.

We had to move an appointment to an early date and the staff here did it perfectly. They also gave us medication when we needed it.

My father’s prescription was requested by the pharmacy a week in advance and was still not issued by the surgery. When I called the surgery , she did not give me a valid explanation to why the medication was not issued, instead she said “everything will be ordered”. When I asked her to go through what she was ordering she stated that she couldn’t because it was closing time. As a NHS staff, I think this reply is disgusting. The reception team need better training on how to talk to patients in a polite manner and make them feel like they’re being cared.

I attend this surgery mainly cos I always have great service. Staff are friendly in person and on the phone. I attend mainly with my 4 year old daughter and the doctors know how to make my daughter feel comfortable.
