Recently my elderly dad needed home visits, three different GP’s from the Practice came and each one was excellent. We had incredible support from all of them, they were without exception compassionate, caring, professional and efficient. Even on a Friday afternoon, one of the GP’s managed to monilise the Crisis Team and the District Nurses, and set up a plan of action. Our Dad has improved significantly, and we are very thankful for the support of the surgery. Far too often, negative comments are made about General Practitioners, so it’s good to be able to give praise where it’s due. What is also astonishing is that the NHS is free at the point of delivery, so we owe you all huge thanks. Thank you to all concerned, we as a family really appreciate you all.

My dad was very ill. Several doctors from this surgery saw him in a short space of time. They were able to diagnose some serious issues that he had, provide quick prescriptions, organise a crisis team, provide access to support teams, and as he recovered continued to provide fantastic support. They were all caring and compassionate, whilst providing the input he needed. Thank you!

I submitted an online request for a repeat prescription. The same day, the Dr called me to ask if I was aware that my mirena coil is due to be replaced and then explained my options and offered to refer me. As a result, I now have a referral and a prescription for additional HRT to cover the period until my coil appointment. I was extremely impressed. Not only that a Dr proactively called me but also that she was so helpful and gave me advice I didn’t realise I needed. I would 100% recommend this surgery. I have had nothing but excellent service from them for both myself and my children.

Rang at 11.30, triaged by a g.p at 1pm for a non urgent problem. Seen at 4pm that day. That's how a good system works when used properly. Great g.p Liked the lovely music in the reception area. Surgery clean and bright. So glad it's my g.p surgery.

Dear all at the Village surgery, Once again I have nothing but absolute praise for this wonderful surgery. Everyone from receptionist, nurses, and GPS always go above and beyond for you. You always get an appointment if you call at the stated times. I do not know how they do this but am beyond grateful ! Recently at my appointment I saw one of the Nurse practitioners about an intimate and possibly serious issue. I was treated with amazing kindness, professionalism and skill. I felt that despite my situation I had a positive experience in which I felt I had been provided (again) with everything I needed, and more. This is a surgery you should be very proud of, and I hope this is always the case in these very challenging times. Many thanks

The service at this surgery is really poor and there is zero follow ups . I’ve phoned the surgery three times to get results. On the first occasion I was told they will look into, on the second they will call me back - nobody called. After the third chase the surgery said they’d send another email follow up. Trying to ascertain when they will call me back was impossible as the woman on the phone just seemed disinterested and said she’d write a note on my file. Not great service. I would expect when you say you will respond to a patent with test results that you would follow that up.

Have been at this practice for 10 years now. The service provided is above and beyond. Arranging an appointment involves no stress. Myself, husband and children always feel listened to. Reception staff and doctors are kind, friendly and professional. We appreciate all that you do and are so grateful to be patients at this surgery. Thank you so much for your outstanding care and service.

Great support from practice nurses who proactively manage my care and look for opportunities to allow me to better monitor my condition.. My GP supports my evolving changes in medication ensuring a smooth transition when required. The doctors I have seen at the practice have been friendly, thorough and very professional. The annual review is very reassuring and I appreciate the whole team.
