we was told to ring in the morning for a morning appointment i think that idea has gone out of the window i booked an appointment for my wife at 8:30am this morning and she is still waiting now at 15:44pm this afternoon this is poor service if anyone reads this don't try to book an appointment in the morning because the doctor wont ring you until late in the afternoon.

Dear Mr Cagliarini, I am the Practice Manager of The Village Surgery. Many thanks for your feedback, we do apologise for your wife’s delay in speaking with a GP. We can advise that patients waiting for their triage call for this period is not the normal procedure. After looking into the matter, the GP advises he had tried to call in the morning, but unfortunately the call did not connect. The GP then tried back in the afternoon and was connected and treated your wife accordingly. Here at The Village Surgery, we do always strive to provide the highest standard of care and service to our patients. Again, we apologise you felt the service received was not what you expected.
