  1. Review titled Getting worse

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 06 February 2024

Things at Waterloo have gone increasingly downhill since covid. Drs asking you what you think is wrong with you and also what you want them to do. If I had a medical degree, I would be able to answer those questions for myself and not need to spend 45 minutes on the phone trying to get an appointment. The econsult is no longer available which is a nightmare when you work full time and travel to work at the time you need to call. I had a phone appointment where the doctor argued with me over who needed to give me prescription and at the end of the call said he didnt even know if what he was saying was correct so he would have to find out. Very unprofessional. Left me feeling like I had just been told off for something I had no clue about. Cemented my decision to move to a different GP.

  2. Review titled Helpful information

by Old lad - Posted on 05 March 2023

I had a routine blood pressure test and I thought it was a little too high so I asked to see a doctor and after that consultation I had an ECG then I was put on a course of medication and was sent a booklet about type 2 diabetes. That’s where I am at the moment, on medication for angina and helpful information on diet to try and lower cholesterol and diabetes levels.

  4. Review titled Exemplary service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by RST - Posted on 13 October 2022

I rang the practice today with a potentially deteriorating condition and the receptionist who took brief details promised me a telephone call from one of the doctors before the day was out. Ten minutes later my own named GP rang and took a brief history of my condition. I was offered a face to face appointment in the next 30 minutes and was examined, treated & prescribed appropriate medication with instructions to get in touch again if my condition didn't improve. Very reassuring and impossible to improve on this high standard of care. Thank you.
