I think I have been seen by the same doctor as the previous reviewer. First appt. she rudely raised her voice at me. Two appts later, I misunderstood something and she shook her head and again looked irritated and snapped at me. A doctor shouldn’t treat patients like this. I seem to have been put on her list. I will try to get this changed. Puts patients off contacting the surgery.

  2. Review titled Now terrible

by James - Posted on 10 June 2024

I've been trying to gain an appointment for our daughter. Which is extremely important and needs sorting out. But trying to get said appointment, is impossible unless your legs are falling off. Even then it would be an argument to see if it could wait six weeks. Merging with the other practice hasn't helped. Indeed, it's made things much worse. You've got the Berlin Wall to try and get over, which isn't easy when she keeps butting in, asking irrelevant questions, which have nothing to do with her. You're a receptionist, not a doctor. I don't care how so called trained you are. Anyway, let's see how I get on this morning when I call.

  3. Review titled Such a sad experience

by Anonymous - Posted on 06 June 2024

This practice recently merged with high street and it's bow impossible to get an appointment after calling for 6 weeks I was offered a routine appt, when I went the Dr asked why I was asking to go on a drug which I have never mentioned in my requests for an appointment which were for long covid, coeliacs and more recently back pain which was very strange. I was in extreme pain and crying which the Dr seemed to find very distracting. I've lost allot of weight and despite talking about how important it was to now take my BMI and take my weight she then didn't do that and gave me a note for a follow up appt to be booked by reception. Reception refused to book that appointment. I left in tears. It was suggested I go to a and e for my back issues or buy crutches off amazon. I was so so upset by the whole experience. I don't think I could trust my wellbeing to this practice again. The level of apathy was quite profound, having worked in GP services myself for over ten years I'm lost for words. Funding and staffing aside it doesn't cost anything to be kind to someone who is overwhelmed and in pain.

  4. Review titled Concerned patient.

Our Surgery through Covid has changed so much. There are Locums and Dr's unknown to us. Sometimes I wish it would go back to how it was. Appointments are hard to get although emergency calls and appointments are indeed given if needed. Telephone Consultations seem to have become the norm and that is sad. I never see the GP I was registered with. It would be nice if the situations that has arisen could have been explained.
