This practice is ahead of the curve with online systems. Easy to use, booked review with nurse in less than 5 mins and spoke via email/chat which was so convenient. Thank you

For some reason TWW decided not to issue my blood pressure tablets and beta blockers so I was without them for 6 days. I had managed to get through once to ask why, but 2 days later the items (and other medication) were still not issued. Couldn’t get on the phone waiting list let alone talk to anyone so I went to the 111 website and asked for an emergency prescription. By this time I was feeling very ill. Odedra Chemists picked up the emergency prescription, and after a call to TWW managed to get my medicine to me within 2 hours. I cannot praise Odedra enough, but absolutely no coherent reason for cancelling my medication has been forthcoming from TWW. I won’t be holding my breath!

I understand the problems involved but getting thru to your surgery is a nightmare . If you can get in a queue (often the telephone queue is full ) it can take 50 minutes on hold . I gave even been cut off 3 times on reaching position 2 in the queue . On visiting practise the 2 staff behind the counter were messing around and there was only 3 people in the waiting room . Can't really believe what I was seeing .

m astonished at the number of bad reviews, I only looked as looking at changing my husbands doctors from Bretton centre to my doctors at Thomas Walker. I have been with them for over 30 years & always received the very best care. I don’t often need an appointment but this last year have had a couple of issues. They all have been brilliant (both doctors and receptionists), no issues making an appointment (to point if I don’t they chase me to make an appointment) doctors very thorough & excellent at referrals & actually chasing them up. When results ware available I didn’t have to wait for the post as receptionist rang me to see if it was okay for the doctor to ring me the next day to discuss the results. Lastly I have a very expensive infusion annually that they granted which I know most other surgeries would not approve. Ps I never usually leave reviews but just felt the negative reviews were not justified Bernadette Skerritt ,

I called as I needed my implant out due to side effects in November. Told I was on a waiting list. I was still having issues by January and still on the waiting list. I called again, told them I’d been bleeding for 2 months straight. So, the receptionist booked me an appointment that day for removal. Great i thought, but no. I got there and it was just a consultation. Complete waste of time for the doctor and waste of NHS recourses due to incompetence when it came to booking a pointless appointment which I was told was for something else.
