Quick and reliable GP practice. Staff are helpful and always amazing! Easy to get appointments and easily accessible. Had amazing blood test today along with standard health check that was quick and was made to feel super comfortable.

Review titled Outstanding customer service
Rated 5 stars out of 5

This afternoon I spoke to a lovely Receptionist beginning with B, the medical practice team will know who that person is. The receptionist was extremely helpful, baring in mind I haven’t been a patient for over 10 years. Went out of their way to help me with my query, credit should always be given when it’s due. Kindness goes a long way and can really make someones day,Please reward the member of staff in question. Thank you again Kind regards Wade

Review titled Neurodivergent aware and friendly nurse
Rated 3 stars out of 5

The nurse who does blood tests and health checks was really patient and lovely with my autistic/adhd son who finds going to the doctors very scary. She was kind, patient and understanding when he was dysregulated and afraid and she managed to get all his health checks done because of this. Thanks so much, her understanding and patience was phenomenal.

After experiancing a shoulder injury for over 8 months, I have been passed between all the GPs in the practice. Then to only be advised that they cant do anything to help me. Waste of time!

Review titled The best experience to date!!
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Sheraine Brown - Posted on 19 April 2023
I have had many blood tests in my time some good experiences, some bad experiences and one ridiuclous account, however, today’s experience stood out for all good reasons. 1) the young nurse had the best attitude doubled up with an infectious personality that made the experience far less trimatic than I thought it might be five the amount of blood samples that was needed to be taken. 2) the nurse located my veins in no time and took all seven samples in the quickest and pain free time I’ve ever experienced. 3) she was diligent and seemed genuinely interested in my health and offering suggestions to enhance my quality of life. 4) she left me feeling hopeful and happy that there are a few good people still left in this world. 5) the service I received this morning brought to life the age old saying of “treat others as you would like others to treat you”. Doesn’t take much to be nice.. am now I have a smile on my face and a spring in my step for the day ahead. Thank you to that young nurse.. You know who you are!! Well done and don’t stop being you!

Review titled Wonderful hca nurse
Rated 3 stars out of 5

I went for a routine blood test I was nervous but felt nothing. The nurse looked through my records seeing I needed to update several things . She took it upon herself to deal with them all , instead of giving me another appointment. I can not praise this young lady enough with her knowledge and kindness and patient care she is a credit to the surgery.

Review titled Poor care
Rated 2 stars out of 5

Ongoing frustrating experience with this practice: -Appointments can only be booked from 8am for the same day - you stay on the line for over 45 minutes and there's no appointment. Why can't they book non-urgent appointments in advance? -They do not use the NHS App for communication despite the section "contact your gp" on the App. Nobody responded to my request for repeat prescription which I need to take for life! Why do they make everything so complicated? -My HRT treatment has been interrupted twice since it started 2 months ago because I can only get prescription for 1 month at a time. Month 3 they told me I need to make an appointment (phone of course!) so that the doctor can assess if I can have the treatment for another month (based on what? no blood pressure, no physical check, no blood test). -Booked an appointment for concerning growth of several moles. It was a phone appointment because that's all you can book! Of course I knew it would be pointless as a doctor would need to actually see the moles! The phone conversation about the moles lasted about 30 seconds - I was told I needed to book an appointment at the surgery. I tried to make us of this phone call to mention my HRT treatment but I was told only 1 issue could be discussed! I had another 9 minutes left of this booked phone appointment. Why waste everybody's time, NHS money and resources to set another appointment? I would understand if the call had already lasted 5 minutes but hear me out, spend a minute to show understanding, care.

Review titled Prescriptions not issued
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 09 December 2022
Prescriptions are never issued on time despite being requested early on the practice website, using the correct form. When contacted to say prescriptions have not been issued and patients are out of medication, action to resolve mistakes is promised, but not taken. This GP practice is a danger to patients reliant on critical medication.
