  1. Review titled Terrible patient interaction style

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 03 March 2025

The clinician who saw me was rude, dismissive, unwilling to listen and gave the overall impression of being completely uninterested in helping me with my pain. The practice of limiting the number of online fit note submissions is frustrating as is the inability to get through in the phone. Any interaction with this surgery feels like an utter waste of time of time, as I have been seeking help for almost two months now and my condition has significantly worsened while making no progress towards solving the issue.

  2. Review titled Great nurse

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anne - Posted on 15 February 2025

My Autistic child had an immunisation appointment which they were finding very difficult to manage and the nurse we had gave us time, space and so much respect. There’s no way it would have gone so well, or happened at all if it wasn’t for this person. To say I’m grateful is an understatement. You are truly amazing and I’m glad we have you.

  3. Review titled Bllod sample

Rated 3 stars out of 5

I attended the surgery for a rotine blood sample on 27th Dec 24. I started with sever brusing late 28th Dec 24 and as yet it has not fully subsided - I already have an ongoing with my right arm/elbow and this has created further discomfort - the brusing is tender and still visable as i write this - 05th jan 25.

  5. Review titled Rude receptionists

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 21 October 2024

Almost every time I call in I'm met with a rude receptionist who seems to have a bad day. Today I called to make an appointment. Being told there are no Dr's available and to call back at noon I explained I've already been on hold for over 20 minutes to which I'm answered " I picked up the phone and told you I only have nurses " in a very rude and snappy tone. It is increasingly frustrating to call in to try and speak to someone when we're being met with such rude and snappy receptionists. Please consider training these receptionists in some customer service manners because today missed the mark completely. The tutting and sighing should not be common practice when you're the face outwards of a medical practice.

  6. Review titled Great practise, really caring staff

Rated 5 stars out of 5

    by Ellie O'Callaghan - Posted on 09 August 2024

My experiences over the years with the surgery have been overwhelmingly positive, and beyond this there have on several occasions been times when members of the team have gone above and beyond to provide exceptional and professional care. Given the circumstances the NHS has found itself in, and the tremendous workload the doctors and other medical professionals have been working under, it is a testament to their professionalism and integrity that they still manage to maintain such excellent care levels. I have long-standing complicated health issues and am on a plethora of different medications, and the GP spent some considerable time with me, explaining and helping me understand different possible risks and interactions, so that I could make an informed choice myself, which I was very grateful for. Again, given the considerable time pressures I know the team are working under, this was really above and beyond and a testament to the caring nature and professionalism of the partners and staff at the practise. Thank you!

  7. Review titled Patient Focused Care Needed

Rated 3 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 19 August 2024

I went to collect my prescription today and received only 7 tablets instead of my usual month's supply. This change was instructed by the GP practice, but I wasn’t informed why. I had to call the practice's prescription query line and was on hold for 20 minutes before being cut off. When I finally reached someone, I was told that the reduced supply is due to an upcoming health check, after which the doctor will review my medication. However, this medication is essential and cannot be missed, and I currently don't have an appointment scheduled for the review. If the practice is waiting on test results, this process could take some time. I believe that a simple communication explaining the reason for the reduced prescription would have prevented this confusion and frustration. Better transparency in such situations would greatly improve patient experience.

  8. Review titled Great staff, terrible booking system

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Anon - Posted on 25 July 2024

The care I've received at this surgery is great and every staff member I've spoken to has been excellent. However, it's almost impossible to get an appointment. Appointments released online at 8am are gone by 8:01am, and that's just to add a request to the triage list, not to book an actual appointment. I've never been registered at a practice where it's this hard to get onto the triage system. If you're lucky enough to get into the triage system the process and care from there are great though. They need to switch to a better software system which allows you to leave a non-urgent triage request during opening hours, rather than having to race for a slot to do so. If you can get to speak to somebody the care is great though.

  9. Review titled You can not make any appoints with this surgery!

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 21 May 2024

I’ve been left untreated because they won’t give me an appointment and it’s important! They told me at 11.50 to ring back at 12pm to make a appointment well I phoned back at 12 didn’t get through til 12.24pm to be told all the appointments have been fully booked which I can’t not believe in that short amount of time they can be fully booked even for tomorrow it’s ridiculous I will be changing doctors as these are useless and quite simply don’t care about our wellbeing! I’m fuming with this surgery I will never recommend it to any one!

  10. Review titled Excellent GP

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Gabby Essame - Posted on 09 April 2024

The GP I saw today was excellent - really personable, knowledgeable and helpful. I felt like everything was explained to me fully and that time was taken by the GP to understand what was going on. A really positive experience
