  1. Review titled Placed my health at risk

Rated 1 star out of 5

As a new patient at the practice I submitted my repeat prescription only to have my medication refused because my diabetic blood was on the low side - I questioned this as I need insulin to daily to the practice manager who is also the GP (that doesn’t see patients face to face and will only speak to patients on the phone if you have a phone or are not deaf agreed with her own decision and refused me insulin as a result I became ill and had to call NHS 111, avoid the GP practice at all cost if you value your health

  2. Review titled Friendly

Rated 4 stars out of 5

The nurse I saw today was extremely friendly. She made me feel at ease throughout my appointment and I appreciated her for telling me about Slimming World and the referral to Beep, both of which has helped me tremendously physically and mentally. Thank you.

  3. Review titled Some good points, but individuals let it down

Rated 1 star out of 5

Most of the medical and nursing team are lovely. Happy with consultations generally. Although some clinics are slightly lacking in proper infection control. One receptionist is unfortunately on a power trip and very rude not only to myself, but I have also witnessed this with many other visitors. Please rotate receptionists more often so people don’t have to deal with such an unwelcoming and rude person. People generally going to the GP have to deal with upsetting and frightening health matters, you can’t force workers to be compassionate if theres not a compassionate bone in their body, but at least have them in an office somewhere and not dealing with the public.

  4. Review titled Wonderful service

    by Ren816 - Posted on 26 August 2023

Rang at 8am for a GP appointment due to back pain. Was asked what my problem was by the receptionist and was then efficiently and correctly signposted to the physiotherapist they had in the surgery today. I was seen at 8.50am & had a full exercise program for a pulled muscle in my inbox by 9.10am. Wonderful service today and never had a poor experience in the past when needing a GP appointment at this practice. Thank you.

  5. Review titled Great doctor

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Nicola Campbell - Posted on 17 February 2023

I've had an issue recently, and the GP who has been dealing with me has been absolutely amazing. Patient, understanding and makes you feel like they really care. Had a few calls with this GP too, and havibg that continuity of care has made a real difference. Thank you.

  6. Review titled Terrible practice!

Rated 1 star out of 5

After pushing them for two years to finally get my ADHD assessment, which I did and was diagnosed last year, they finally pushed me over the edge. The organisation that I received my diagnosis with asked my GP via a letter to do an ECG, which they did at the beginning of January, but the organisation still hasn't received the result. When I finally got through to ask why they haven't been sent, I was told because they didn't ask them to but "please carry out an ECG and interpret the results for us" is pretty clear. I now have to go to the GP practice and fill in a form and then they will release the results to me, so I can scan in and send to the organisation that they referred me to in the first place. They are the actual worst. I have been ignored by the staff there while waiting to check in and seen them ignore other patients, they don't care here, so think twice before signing up to this practice unless you never need a GP.

  7. Review titled Bureaucratic nightmare.

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 23 December 2022

The doctors and nurses are very good. The bureaucratic side of things is appalling. When I tell people at work that patients are locked out and have to be buzzed in they think I am joking. If the clerical and reception staff want to be shown some respect then they should start respecting the patients. If, as I was told, it is practice policy to lock patients out then there should be somebody on the desk at all times. In reality the policy should be changed anyway. The system of appointments does not take into account that some patients go to work and don’t work in the vicinity of the practice. This usually means using a days holiday to get to an appointment that only lasts a few minutes.
