Terrible service call waits are insane always have been despite they no have changed the system which is even worse everything now through a triage which means waiting waiting week's for an appointment which is crazy. I understand the triage system however you should be able to also be able to still book an appointment. It's shocking all round. What happened to actually caring and supporting patients. Instead you just cause stress and upset

I have been at this practice for about 13 years. I have used services including immunisations for my children, smear tests, travel health and access to Gp, Nurse and Hca Over the past few years the service of the practice has declined, there appears to be an increase of Locum doctors and seeing the same GP has become increasingly difficult. They have recently deployed a new triage system which requires you to download an app and have access to a device and Internet. For the majority this is fine but there are many people who for whatever reason cannot access a device with Internet. When I needed an appointment for my daughter, I had rung and was on hold for about 40 minutes and decided to walk face to face to the practice where I was then informed of needing to fill out a form for triage. It feels as though the practice has lost touch with their community and forget that in those moments people are vulnerable and in need of assistance. Another occasion my son had an infected finger and needed antibiotics, again I walked in because I couldn't get through on the phone only to be told no appointments despite the lines opening only 45 minutes prior. Today, I had an appointment only to be called and told it was a booking error and in order for me to have another one with same doctor the receptionist needed to go and speak to the doctor and would come back to me. For background, this appointment already went through the triage system and an appointment was offered approximately 10 days later. Only to be called today to be told it needs to go back to triage again. The system doesn't work, it doesn't make sense. I feel particularly sorry for the most vulnerable struggling with mental health or the elderly. It's not serving its purpose and most likely putting an additional strain an the emergency departments. I do not recommend this practice, and I am in the process of changing GP.

The call service in this GP is awful. I was in the queue and pressed 1 to book a call back. Instead of an actual call back I got a message saying the Gp called you back- but they didn’t. I then had to wait on hold for over an hour for a 5 min answer of why my appointment was cancelled. Terrible call back service.

I have called four times between the hours of 12-1 for my test results and have waited over 40 mins each time. Today I called at precisely 12pm and was told I am number 1 in the queue and proceeded to wait over 40mins again. I looked at my test results online and it says there is an abnormality and yet no one has called to let me know three weeks since the blood tests and I can’t even get through to speak to someone about it. This surgery has always been poor but it has become ridiculous now with its lack of patient care. Planning to leave ASAP

Had to wait 28mins as the 1st caller in the Que . Whn someone pick and simply cut the line. Again when I call yeah I’m caller number 14th in the Que ! How the Gp expect Patience to wait patiently whn this is the service they give! For the record this was not the 1st time it happend. Never easy to get an appointment. You can’t walk in to get an appnt. Have to call at 8am everyday to get appnt and this is what happen whn you lined up in Que !

South Tooting Medical Centre continues to excel in patient care. The car my family has received over the years has been exemplary. Generational care from my elderly mother to myself to my children. Office staff were accommodating and informative and the doctors efficient and proficient. Thank you.

I went here earlier today, was attended by a particular female doctor. She was all over the place and very rude. As a patient she made me feel like I couldn’t confide in her. The only thing she didn’t do was to tell me to get out of the practice. She told me I couldn’t see a dermatologist and to go to a different GP. As a doctor she could have listened to my problems. I feel like she ruined the entire doctor patient relationship. I already hated going to see a GP and this has made it even worse. I’m so disappointed.

I was treated well at every stage of my contact in the surgery during my visit. I was given enough time to explain my problems and very well explained by the Doctor. He also suggested what care and precautions I should take. I should contact him if any problems arise again.

Easy booking system with plenty of availability. The wait was short at the surgery. The doctor was clear and concise and diagnosed and prescribed treatment, thankfully allaying my fears. Professional & caring staff.
