Waited 35minutes for a booked appointment to not have it. If there communication, it would have been ok, but I had to go and speak to staff twice.

Need emergency appointment . I called 10 times and it went through all the options and then when I pressed appointment line it just said we are unable to take your call at this time . I then called later in the day and it rang and rang for 20 minutes when previously it said your 2nd in the que . The system just does not work and I feel really let down by the surgery

Review titled Cannot make contact
Rated 1 star out of 5

I have telephoned the surgery several times now to try and get a referral for a lung health check. The recorded message provides several options to listen to before you even start (taking well over 5mins in all) but I can promise you that I have tried each one and each one ends with a dead end. I appreciate the pressures GPs are under but fail to understand why they are not even able to arrange for a telephone to be answered. The increasing inaccessibility of GPs as the 'front door' to healthcare does two things: for the patient it kicks the can down the road so that their condition and the cost of eventual treatment are both likely to be significantly increased; for the NHS it results in 'patient flight' to privatised services. A lose:lose situation.

Review titled Poorly managed opening time appointments
Rated 1 star out of 5

Today I had an appointment at 0800 and arrived with time to spare at 0755. The doors had not yet been opened and a queue had formed at the door with around 20 people waiting. By the time I managed to get into the building at 0820 I was advised I had been marked as a ‘no show’ and would need to rebook my appointment. Having arrived on time and paid for parking this was extremely disappointing. Very poor management of appointments at the time of opening.
