Thank you to the receptionists for all the continued help and assistance. The phone is answered in good time and everything is explained on the telephone line while you are awaiting. It is reassuring to know that you are in a queue and to hold and be patient. The receptionist was kind, caring and resolved my problem in minutes. I was to get a call from a GP.

It is extremely difficult to contact the surgery to make any type of appointment. The phones are just not answered. I waited over 40 minutes to be connected to someone to book a smear test appointment. I deliberately did not call earlier in the morning because I did not needed an urgent appointment. When you do need a GP appointment (urgent or routine) you seemingly have to queue outside the surgery before 8 and/or repeatedly call the surgery from 8 and complete an e-consult at 8. Your best bet is possibly to try all 3 methods simultaneously. I have had to contact them once for an illness and having to use these methods not only made me feel worse at the time but I now avoid contacting them at all no matter what health issue I have (maybe that's the reason they make it so difficult?) Offering the opportunity for patients to book appointments online (even if they don't include GP appointments in this ) would surely make it easier for patients needing a GP appointment to get through on the phone line.

From submitting the econsult for my ear infection at 8am, I received a follow up call from the nurse within 15 minutes and then sorted with a prescription by 11am. Really pleased and appreciated at a time when I feel rubbish! Thanks so much

Disappointed that the nurse spoken to on the phone in the morning didn't write the prescription for my 2 year old. Had to come into surgery at 530pm on a Friday to try and rectify it.

Waited 35minutes for a booked appointment to not have it. If there communication, it would have been ok, but I had to go and speak to staff twice.
