I've tried to book a non-urgent appointment, e.g. a few days/weeks in advance and found the process easy difficult. The section on the Appointments page of the Trent Vale Medical practice practice's website suggests you can: - Call for a routine appointment - I was told this is only available for appointments on the day of the call. - Visit the surgery - I didn't do this as I wanted to do book it remotely. - Use your NHS Account - I tried this via the app and website and it says that No appointments are available to book online at this time - Use the online consult appointment request form - this goes to a website address that doesn't exist anymore. Surely being able to book a routine appointment should be easy for someone to do and would reduce the burden on the admin staff at the medical practice.

3rd month of repeat prescription not being updated with replacement /new meds ,one month the reception can sort it on the pc, next month they can't do that...,made to feel a fool when asking why? told was talking too loud. really? I have autism and tinnitus,anxiety and depression and even then I know I wasn't talking too loud, maybe open the glass partition a bit more so , you can hear me,and I can hear you , without rest of waiting room listening in.Unless you can get to surgery at 7.45 in the morning in person to book an appt good luck seeing a dr within 2 weeks.Get told to phone, at 8, but on hold till 8.30 by which time all appt gone.

Thanks to the young Lady receptionist whom I spoke with on T/p last week. My call was disrupted by an incident at my end. She was concerned enough to call me back later in the day. Her small action made me feel valued. Kindness the wonder drug Thankyou

Tried multiple times to get an appointment with the doctor by calling at 8am only to be on hold until half past and then missing the 8am deadline to book an appointment. The system for booking appointments is extremely poor, and I often find the receptionists to be unhelpful and unfriendly. When I have been able to get an appointment, I have to give details to the receptionist about why I need a doctors visit, which is fine as I understand it’s to help myself receive specific care. However, I see the same nurse every time I’m there. They’re extremely helpful but I don’t understand why I have to divulge personal health information to someone who isn’t a healthcare professional especially when I see the same practitioner for different ailments? I would not recommend this GP.

Online Consult for the practice is offline For patients like myself who suffer from mental health issues, this service is really important. I find it almost impossible to use the telephone or to ask someone else to phone on my behalf about potentially personal issues. The Online Consult Service enabled me to have independence and now that the Practice has chosen to remove this service, I'm feeling even more isolated than before

I do not know how helpful the GP's are as it is impossible to see them! You are unable to pre-book appointments for the future as all appointments have to be made on the day at 08.00. I advised the receptionist it is practically impossible to get through on the phone and also difficult to be on the phone in a queue as I am at work. I was advised 'you can queue outside at 08.00'. How can I queue outside if I am at work??

The doctors and receptionist do a fantastic service, it may take a while to get through but the receptionists are always extremely helpful and polite and have always been able to see or speak to a doctor.Keep up the good work in these difficult times Well Done
