  1. Review titled Good practice with some IT/communication issues

Rated 4 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 08 April 2025

I have found it very frustrating that they refuse to accept electronic documentation, asking for it to be submitted as printouts. This means I would have to print out the clinic letter, etc., so I can bring them and submit them for them to be scanned again. Most other GP practices in the area have an email address where patients can submit requested documents. I do not understand why they can not have an email address like most other practices in the Woolwich/Plumstead area where you can send the requested documents. Most people don't have a printer at home, so you are faced with having to pay money to print something only for it to be rescanned. I've found the doctors very helpful and understanding and have no issue with the timeframe for non-urgent or semi-urgent (i.e. not same day) appointments. However, my frustration regarding the documents has gotten to the point that I have thought about leaving the practice. It feels like there is a simple solution (i.e. follow what most GP practices seem to do - have an email for patients to email documents requested). I don't understand why they haven't done this (I have raised this issue several times over the last 2 years but everything remains the same)

Dear Patient Thank you for your comment on our NHS Website. I firstly apologise for the frustration caused to you and I do understand your concerns. I can confirm that Triveni PMS has had a patient email address for over a year now. Unfortunately we do not advertise the email address as the last one that we had was not used appropriately and we had to close it down. Therefore, at present, if a patient needs to send information to us then they should be directed to either the Team Leader, Assistant Practice Manager or the Practice Manager and they can inform the patient of the correct email address to use if the requirement falls within our criteria. We apologise once again for your frustration and hope that this is now clear. If you require to use the patient email in the future please do not hesitate to contact one of the above. Kind regards Triveni PMS

She checked my details and said she would let them know. went home rung them myself and they assured me i went. my results today have arrived no comment. 10 april the letter 3 april on it. don’t do this to your patients without checking it causes a lot of worry. all it takes is a phone call. but I’m still down as not attending.

Dear Patient Firstly may I thank you for your feedback regarding your recent breast screening. After looking into this matter it seems that the short time frame between you attending your screening on 23 March and the results being sent out to both yourself and the practice which were received on the 10 April, an error occurred whereby a text was sent to you in between these dates. I have reported this to our administration team to investigate so that protocols can be put in to place to try and prevent this happening again. We do hope that you can accept our apology for this error. As you can appreciate the breast screening campaign is a national campaign and it is impossible for surgeries to call each patient on the list and we apologise that we do not have capacity to do this within our practice. We do however, follow the national guidelines for calling patients via text or email, it was the short time limit of appointment/attending/results that let us down in this instance. At Triveni PMS we do our best to help patients and are available to talk to about any concerns patients might have. Either myself, Lisa Fisher or Lesley Brailey are available at the practice to talk to patients if they have concerns or worries. I do hope that in future if anything else arises that you have concerns about then please do approach on of us. Thank you once again for taking the time for your feedback which is most appreciated. J Whitall, Practice Manager

  3. Review titled 40 minutes to be seen due to nurse unfairness

Rated 1 star out of 5

by MRS Lespez - Posted on 24 December 2024

Had a 15-minute Appointment scheduled and a fellow patient had one after mine. But somehow the nurse decides that the appointment after ours is more important and that person is seen before either of us and is a double appointment. What practise of treating patients fairly does that fall under? It is completely unacceptable to treat us this way. We also have jobs and families that rely on us being where we need to be on time and to do this to patience shows a lack of empathy, respect and fairness and the nurse needs to explain that decision and why it was made. I am very upset by this and want an explanation.

Dear Mrs Lespez I am sorry to hear that you were unhappy with your recent visit to the Triveni PMS practice. We take all comments seriously and we will look into this and will write to you directly after we have looked into this and let you know the reason behind why this happened. I would just like to add that when you are visiting the surgery in the future and are unhappy with the service, please ask the receptionist to speak to either their Team Leader, the Practice Manager or her Assistant and then this situation could have been addressed immediately, one of us is always available at the practice. Kind regards

  4. Review titled Extremely unhappy

The surgery is very contradictive states one thing then the receptionist is telling you something completely different, if the surgery doesn’t intend on contacting you within the time scale they have stated then they need to change there response emails. People are waiting around all day for phone calls that never come because the response email states that they will get a response by this time and date yet don’t, it’s a joke! Needs to be sorted out !!

Dear Anonymous, we are sorry to hear that you had a bad experience. We, as a practice, reply to all telephone call requests on the day. With regard to e-Consult you should be contacted by a staff member to advise when a clinician will contact you. I am sorry to hear that this did not happen in your case. If you would like to either contact the surgery via e-Consult or write to the surgery and address your request to the Practice Manager or Assistant Practice Manager we can investigate how this did not happen in your case. At Triveni we do take all comments on board and will try our best to correct and learn from any negative feedback that we receive. We look forward to hearing from you in this case.

  5. Review titled Excellent practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I have to visit the practice frequently due to some on going and serious issues. The doctors and surgery staff are extremely helpful, treat me like a grown up and are always professional, friendly and polite. I have had many doctors in my life and this practice is the best.
