I supported my 18 year old daughter whilst she was on a phone appt with Dr. I was very disappointed with how disinterested the Dr was, how dismissive he was and most importantly his lack of listening skills. A Dr ought to listen to a patient and use his training to consider possible options to resolve a patient's medical issue. This Dr simply read from his screen generic options such as losing weight, stopping smoking and reducing alcohol intake - he has my daughters records in front of him, if he'd care to look and realise these don't apply. Very poor care and compassion demonstrated and I shall actively avoid this particular doctor in the future.

good experience/ happy with the outcome. would recommend the practice to others I was told to return if the prescribed medicine did not work

A lot of people think getting an appointment is difficult but you can make appointments through their website and via NHS app. The care given to me by Nurses and GP's here over the years has been mostly brilliant. Have patience with the reception team, they're doing their job and it's not all their fault. I have been visiting this practice for years and although I now live outside of the catchment area, I believe it's worth staying with them for the care they provide.
