    1 week after birth; told would miss appointment if late; rushed through reception by staff; PCN £100. Surgery Reception staff claim they don't know who owns the private land of the car park. Only the owner can quash this charge. I believe Reception are being dishonest.

    No information as to who owns the land outside where I put my car. Reception thought council owns but the charge is for private land.

    After holding on the telephone for 40 minutes number 23 in the queue I was given an appointment for 11.45am I arrived at the surgery 11.40am and eventually saw a doctor at 12.05pm twenty minutes late !! The doctor was fine and asked for a water sample which I could not manage . I went with my water sample 3pm the same . Fine our so I thought doctor rang next day to why I hadn't provided a sample surprise surprise the had lost it !! Went back Friday with another sample and was met by a very rude receptionist do train these people ?? Didn't hear anything more so rang Tuesday afternoon for the results said they hadn't got my result for the sample then surprise surprise she found them . What is happening to this practice it is disgrace . Then the icing on the cake I received a parking fine of £60 what a lovely money making practice . As I am nearly 84 I found this experience very upsetting .

    After waiting 5 weeks for the results of my Colonoscopy I was told after calling twice and waiting an hour to call back in a week to see if I could speak to the doctor, after insisting I wanted to know the results I was later called by the doctor who had no idea why I had called and despite the hospital referring me back to the Doctors, the Doctor had no idea that I had been referred back for possible further treatment I can totally see why so many people are suffering and dying needlessly.

    Worst customer service ever, staff very rude, could not get help at all, never been given any alternatives, been asked to call every morning at 8 am for the last 8 days, always hold it on the phone for over 50 minutes +, could not even offer me an doctors appointment, the next appointment was offered was 6 weeks away. People been waiting in the queue and the staff was laughing and giggling, shame

    Dr was brilliant as usual all concerns addressed. Parked in new car park in accordance with instructions entered car number . In keypad .Today received PCN charge!! Have appealed charge but very unhappy

    Attended the surgery for an appointment that was running late by 20 minutes, when I went to the reception desk fifteen minutes after the appointment time to make an enquiry I was met with an awfully rude, stern face receptionist who shrugged her shoulders and told me the doctor is running late. No apology, no "sorry for the inconvenience" appalling customer service.. the reception staff need to undertake some customer services training for front line services. Would certainly not recommend this place

    Doctor referred me to have a blood test and the day of my appointment I found out doctor did not document anything so almost was a waste of time. Then the same doctor was to leave a tub at Reception but did not leave anything and a waste of my time when I went to collect. Poor service patients time is not important

    This GP practice writes out letter and sends texts for repeat blood tests that patients don't require. The receptionists are almost illiterate as they cant read dates on a calendar. The GPs are calling in patients for unnecessary follow up appointments, when a phone call could suffice.

  10. Review titled Front Room Staff Lacking Personal Skills

    I have no doubt, as professionals, the doctors at the surgery are exceptional and extremely caring. However, sitting behind their door's they are not witnessing, as patients so often do, the front office staff so lacking in social skills. You can stand for minutes as they, sitting behind their glass fronted room gabble to each other, not particularly bothered about the person standing before them. I've yet to hear any of them say, "Good afternoon, how may I help you?" I suggest, as a matter of urgency, each receptionist is given a simple A4 piece of paper of key phrases explaining how to interact with the customer properly. this would go a long way to diffuse any situation. And, as soon as anyone approaches the front window, a smiling face with a welcome greeting. Sorry Lichfield surgery, It's simply not rocket science....
