I had a good call from one of the daily call physicians there. She listened and asked thoughtful questions for a long term ailment I was experiencing and was obviously knowledgable on the subject. She then provided a prescription and a follow up appointment within the hour. She left me feeling like I have my health under control.

First of all, to get through to reception, it's almost impossible. the waiting times, being held in a queue, it's ridiculous! and then, when i finally got through, the receptionist, who couldn't hear me properly, apparently (I say apparently, as i was making so many other calls and everyone heard me just fine, no issues there, so the problem might be actually with the Practice's phone lines!), after getting my details, simply hang up on me!!!! i find it very rude and unacceptable! i would at least expect her to call back, seeing that she managed to get my details! but no, i had to call again and been kept in a long queue again! and then again she had the same problem, couldn't hear me. managed to get my appointment booked in the end, but i kept telling her, whenever she could somehow hear me, to not hung up, but she was very annoyed and kind of rude. What they need is some training on how to even talk to patients. i myself work for NHS too, in one of the hospitals in the City and i never talk to ''my'' patients the way she was talking to me, and we get so many very angry patients...also, waiting times for an appointment, another ridiculous thing! i have to wait now 4 weeks for something that need to be addressed asap!!! totally unacceptable!!! you guys should train your staff. after all they are the face of the Practice!

Appointments are scarcely available. The prefer to do everything by phone citing COVID, which is frustrating given restrictions have been lifted. When you get an appointment, GP often starts very late, which is understandable, but when the patient is slightly late they cancel the appointment. Staff are unhelpful and unsympathetic.

As always, the receptionists were immediately helpful. The doctor called two days later and a necessary blood test was booked to take place within the week. I’ve been with this practice now for over 40 years and despite the much written about decline of overall GP care I have only experienced excellent, prompt and caring treatment. Added to which the practice setting is modern, spacious and light-filled.

I visited the surgery yesterday feeling quite unwell and the young doctor I saw couldn't have been more helpful or sympathetic. She asked all the right questions and even phoned me at home later with an appointment for blood tests. Excellent service. I've been with this practice for over 50 years. Wonderful service from the moment you walk in. Gold star for receptionists too!!

I’ve only needed to contact the GP since having a baby 6 months ago. I’ve always been able to get an urgent appointment when needed and all the staff I’ve had contact with (nurses/doctors/receptionists) have been very helpful and kind. Today I received a call within 10 mins after requesting an urgent appointment. Great practice.

Not only is it impossible to get an an appointment, when I spoke to the doctor who told me he would arrange a blood test , I had to call them and it was not even on my records. I have had to book 2 private app, one of the turned out out to be a basal cell carcinoma.!!!

We are sorry that you are finding it difficult to get an appointment. Like most practices, we are struggling to keep up with high demand in the context of a reduced workforce. We are doing our best to manage urgent demand and offer a number of appointments that can be booked on the day in addtion to an all-day duty doctor system for any urgent matters that come in to the practice when all the appointments have been taken. Routine appointments can be booked in advanced. The wait is currently about 3 weeks, which we accept is very difficult for patients. Filled in a econsult on 20th March 2023 - was given an appointment on 23rd March 2023 at 5.40pm a telephone consultation, it is now 9.06pm and have never received the call!!.... Seems to be OK for the Dr's not to keep appointments, but if I failed to attend that would not be acceptable.

I have done a subject access request to the DVLA re my medical driving licence and the doctor has put the wrong answer to question 9….saying I am not fit to drive I have done a subject access request to the DVLA re my medical driving licence and the doctor has put the wrong answer to question 9….saying I am not fit to drive , although verbal my doctors have given me the impression that I am . Todate I have phoned the surgery many , many times about my DVLA medical report and about the problems I am having starting in March this year..... I was very disappointed that one lady said it wasn't policy to make a record of my calls and another occasion the practice manager refused to speak to me when I phoned. I am leaving this review as the practice appears to respond to feedback and I can't face yet another call . I have read that patients phone calls should be documented effectively with names and dates and content including action taken in response to the patients calls .It is also necessary to make patients notes after out of hours phone calls or any consultation with colleagues about a patients case. When I recently I phoned referring to a telephone conversation with a Doctor there was no record of the call . I have spoken to 10 different people including 2 Doctors over the past months spending hours on the phone just get a form completed. All that I require now is a written apology for my records so I don't have to go through this again and confirmation you consider me safe to drive and the question 9 answered Yes and in error .Driving is an important part of my life enabling me to socialise and the thought of not being able is unthinkable. Finally on the 23rd and 26th June I have two text from the surgery that upset me deeply , I felt I was being dismissed as a nuisance and whats the difference between one doctor and to another

I had a phone appointment with a doctor but haven't been contacted. Once I called back the receptionist to explain the situation the doctor just sent me a text message prescribing medicine that I had used a year ago without consultation. I called back saying I was not happy with this treatment and made another appointment the same week but guess what? I haven't been contacted again.
