Aside from the inconvenience of having to call at 8 a.m. sharp to book an appointment—like many GP practices—I found the doctors to be lovely and the staff both helpful and kind. I’ve visited for various issues, last one was for an outer ear infection, pain, UTIs, and skin conditions, and they’ve always provided good care. While the waiting room is small and there can sometimes be a bit of a wait, even if you arrive on time, this is to be expected with free healthcare. The only downside was that the practice has two locations, Mapperley and Glasshouse, and depending on the experience of the person booking your appointment, they sometimes schedule you at the wrong location which has happened twice. This can lead to a bit of a scramble, as you might end up rushing to the other side of Nottingham if they don’t specify which practice you’re booked into, even if you’re registered with the one closer to you.

I use to rate this practice but for the last 6 months I have either been sent to whole different practice in the city centre who say I should of never been sent there or I get a phone call back which isn't the same as being seen in person. I have ongoing issues and nothing as been resolved. Tried to get myself and my 3 year old son in and told after 40 minute wait in the queue no appointments are available and this isn't the first time it as happened. I ask if I can pre book an appointment once again I get told there is no available appointment this month and the next month diary isn't open yet! There needs to be a better booking system as obviously what they are doing now isn't working. Sad to say it maybe time to move to another practice or look in to private healthcare.
