    Several of the doctors don't even look at you, it's as if sometimes you are a number not a person. To get an appointmentvtakes forever. The messages when you ring fir an appointment do not need to be so long, repetitive before you even get into the queue to try and get an appointment

    I have been trying for 6 months to get an appointment. Unless you have ninja fingers it’s almost impossible. Very disappointing as I have been with this practice for many years, the last few years getting appointments have become more and more difficult. I suppose it is the same everywhere but it is unacceptable.

    I am sorry for the problems you have had in obtaining an appointment, and, I am also sorry for the length of time taken to respond to your review. We are constantly striving to improve services for patients, especially to improve access. We have therefore recently introduced a triage system. The GP will review each request and offer an appointment according to the need. This process enables those with urgent needs to be seen sooner. We will keep this system under review and make adjustments if necessary. It is important to receive feedback to enable Wallington Family Practice to design services in accordance with patient needs.     I joined in August after having many bad experiences at my previous practice. I called after 8 am for a appointment i explained the situation and was given a time however couldn't make it face to face till the afternoon. I recalled at 2pm and was given an appointment at 3pm. The doctor was absolutely lovely and so helpful. All the receptionists and admin team this week have been so polite and helpful. I have had to call numerous times due to my babies illness and every time I have felt listened to and haven't had to reexplain my situation. Everyone I have encountered have been amazing and can tell they put their patients first.

    I had minor surgery to remove a cyst on my back, from the start of the procedure I felt well cared for and I was kept informed of progress throughout. Like everyone, I felt apprehensive at the beginning, however at the end of the 30 minute minor op I left feeling very satisfied that the staff involved not only cared about my well being. They were personable chatty and professional. Thank you.

    Called at 2pm for a GP call back and was called by the Dr 10 minutes later. Very understanding and efficient. Anti-viral tablets prescribed and eye care instructions given in case of worsening symptoms. I collected the medication from my chosen pharmacy within 30 minutes! Thank you Wallington Family Practice!

This was significantly changed in July when our waiting time for a routine appointment had crept up to 3-4 weeks which we felt was far too long. We are pleased you have found it working so well.     The GP was thorough and clear with her advice and left me confident that my concerns were being addressed. She was kind and patient. The new online booking system was easy to use and allowed a choice of telephone and face to face appointments for the same day a significant improvement!

    I have spoken with two lady doctors recently and had one face-to-face appointment and it was a great experience. The doctors were engaged and helpful. I didn't feel rushed or like I was an inconvenience. Usually I always feel like they’re trying to just get me out the seat and gone. I managed to get an appointment the same day and was promptly called when required.
