Seen by Dr face to face very attentive & helpful & explained all concerns, urgent referral made & he chased clinic several times & went over & above to ensure referral revieved, due to new service provision at Midland Met, Further telephone call to myself to update & kept in the loop, excellent service

Review titled Lack of appointments
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 14 February 2024
Went online at 7am this morning no appointments then rang at 8am on hold 36 minutes to be told no appointments for my asthmatic child who has a very nasty cough. Told take her walk in or ring 111 don't drive to hard to get to walking especially with a sick child when I won't give up after telling no prep booked appointments till next Tuesday then book me in for 9am tomorrow morning it's amazing how that appointment wasn't there 3 minutes earlier. All I wanted was a phone call to see what was best to do with her. But last week they called me to come in for a face to face that I didn't ask for simple yo give me the phone number to the physio to self refer what a waste of an appointment they could have just gave me the number over the phone.

Review titled Good practice
Rated 5 stars out of 5

When an appointment is available the face to face experience is always good and the GPS are thorough and genuinely strive to give the appropriate level of care and out comes within the parameters of issues beyond their control eg hospital wait times. I personally have had to wait 8 months for a minor procedure required to confirm a diagnosis. Despite very welcomed pleas from the GP to my consultant to see me urgently this did not bring the appt forward. I have empathy with GPs endeavouring to provide a high class service with out the tools they need.

Review titled No appointments
Rated 2 stars out of 5

I have been trying to contact a gp appointment for over a week now. Online system is like a game of fastest finger first or nothing at all.... Airmid uk doesn't have appointments either. As for phoning......I dial in a few seconds before 8am to be told I'm 40th in the queue.....how does that work???? Going over to the practice in person is hopeless too. I have been lucky not to need my gp for a few years, but when I do I can't get to see him/her.

I'm so sorry that you haven't been able to get an appointment when you required. Phone lines do get very busy at 8am. We do offer pre-bookable appointments up to 2 weeks in advance where possible and also try to advise of other services that could help when we are fully booked such as the chemist or 111. Please contact me and ask to speak to the practice manager if you wish to discuss this further, I would like to help. Kind regards Vicky Clayton Practice Manager

Review titled Outstanding Care
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Maria Rocker - Posted on 06 August 2024
My father has Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease and has been a patient at St. Leonards Hospital for years. He constantly suffered from ulcers and pain at the base of his foot. When Dad moved to a care home in Brentwood, I needed to find someone to visit him. We had a few podiatrists visit, but none were caring or able to improve his condition. Then I came across Warley Grange the transformation has been remarkable. Dad had a large, chronic wound on his foot that had never fully healed. The expertise in the mechanics of foot care led to a new approach in dressing the wound. The surgery arranged for the same podiatrist to visit weekly to dress Dad's foot. Thanks to their combined efforts, the wound has completely healed. They not only did an excellent job, but her care and attention have been invaluable and commendable. Dad also has Alzheimer’s, the care was never rushed, no clock watching and the staff have been amazing visiting Dad regularly to ensure his needs are met. I cannot thank the team enough and highly recommend anyone with complex foot issues to visit Warley Grange. It is wonderful to find a private practice that prioritises care and compassion over finances.

Review titled Superb practice!
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Andrea - Posted on 10 November 2023
Always able to get an appointment at this surgery. Doctors/nurses are great, and always thorough. Reception staff are friendly and helpful too. My elderly parents have been looked after extremely well, home visits are offered as they are unable to attend surgery. Repeat prescriptions are done in record time. Advice given regarding home services, ie heart failure team, district nurses etc... The service this surgery provides is second to none. I wouldn't go anywhere else!!
