    I was seen at the time of my appointment. Straight away, she was professional & compassionate & treated me with dignity. She listened carefully & was empathetic. She gave me a prescription to help my eczema, and has referred me to a dermatologist. I left positive & appreciative, that she had been very thorough. And showed kindness. I was valued.

    I would just like to say “thank you” to the staff at Weeping Cross Medical Centre. In my personal experience they cannot do enough to help resolve health problems, from the Reception team, to the Nursing team, Physios, Pharmacy and GPs. They are professional, efficient, practical and caring, nothing ever seems to be too much trouble for them. I know sometimes in this busy world the pressures can be enormous and I just want to say thank you all for the service and care you provide.

    My wife and I went for a Covid injection run by the Weeping Cross surgery at St Annes hall on Mon.29th April. The service was excellent. Every member of the staff was very pleasant, helpful and efficient. Considering how many members of the public were there we could not have been treated better and more quickly.

    I have been on several occasions to use the diabetic service. I have never had a problem getting an appointment and on each visit I have been seen promptly and been given excellent advice. I cannot recommend this service enough.

    Call after call to make an appointment and no one answers the phone . Even the queuing system on the phone is rubbish . This has been the way for years and has not improved . We are in the 21st century surely there is a better way to get an appointment than spending hours on the phone waiting for it to be intentionally ignored or never being picked up, even after reaching 1 in the queue . Shockingly bad .. and has been for years ..

    Dear Mark, Thank you for leaving your feedback. At the Practice we do try and provide a high standard of Care and Treatment and I am sorry that this has not been your experience. We do record all incoming calls to all sites and I have checked our average call wait times for today. They do not seem to correspond with your experience but I would be happy to investigate further if you would like to provide more detail.     I recently left for a week's holiday in the Lake District only to realise that I had forgotten my eye drops for Glaucoma. In desperation I phoned the Weeping Cross Health Centre and asked whether a prescription could be sent to a Pharmacy in Windermere. The very helpful Receptionist promised to alert a GP to the problem that very day. It turned out that I was able to collect the eye drops the following morning. The incident served to remind me how helpful your staff are despite their considerable workload. The Practice is very fortunate to have staff of this calibre – and I consider myself very fortunate to be served by the Practice.

    Although the GP I saw was running 30 minutes late, he gave me more time than is allocated and shows a great interest in getting to the cause of my condition.

    If this was a private business it would need closing . Getting an appointment is more difficult than getting a ticket for the front row of the Coronation . A call on the 5th of April ... after finally getting the call answered after repeated attempts ' We have no appointments available for the whole of April'.. what about May ..'we are not taking appointments for May please call back at the end of the Month ' . I know parts of the NHS are under stress but this is beyond belief .. With prescriptions to get from a private doctor prescribed through the GP and being asked by text to book an appointment .. what hope is there for this practice if you have to wait over a month for an appointment with no doubt when you do ,to be told it'll be another month .. The place wants striking off .. or new management ...

    Dear Mr Argent, Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. We do endeavour to provide the best care and treatment we can and I am sorry that was not your experience. I can see that your appointment time was 20 minutes behind schedule. Unfortunately the patient before you had some complex needs that needed additional time. The Clinical Team will always provide the necessary care and support required but it can lead to delays which we know can very frustrating and we are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you. I can see that your prescription was issued on the same day as your appointment. It did however require additional authorisation due to the number of repeats prescriptions being issued. This did lead to a delay and I am sorry for this. The prescription was sent the following day and I hope that you have now been able to collect it.
