    Very poor, takes an age to even get an appointment in the first place after nearly having to argue with such rude and medically unqualified people on reception. Upon actually having an appointment the gp is very dismissive and rude, and came across as simply not knowing what to do. It would be nice if they just did the jobs they are paid for like the rest of us, the surgery has gone rapidly downhill over time.

    We are very sorry you are unhappy with the level of service provided. As you will understand Reception staff, as per NHS Policy, need to determine the reason you are calling in order that you can be signposted to the correct service/appointment. In regard to the GP appointment if you would be so kind as to email the practice (west.hallammc@nhs.net) in order we can look into the matter. KR WHMC

    I called after having a severe period and bleeding constantly for over a month. I was told I could only receive a call in another months’ time but they couldn’t give me a time - I missed the call when it finally came by 30 seconds and when called straight back I was given another date in a weeks’ time. No call ever came. I ended up in A&E who said I needed to go back to the GP who can’t even be bothered to call when I have been bleeding for 8 weeks. Incredibly distressing practice to deal with in mine and my whole family’s experience over the years, and seems to be getting worse. I feel for the pressure they are under but what are people supposed to do?!
