Review titled Poor service continuously getting worse.
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 15 September 2023
Absolutely ridiculous 30-49 mins to get through on the phone, after the doctors phoned through to me and was returning the call as the line was bad. Never returned my call after being advicedto speak to my gp, and generally doctors googling straight forward things doesn’t inspire much confidence! Would certainly not recommend! Feeling nervous after being told I will no longer be under shared care of the hospital, after being diagnosed with a life changing illness.

Dear Anonymous, Thank you for your feedback. It sounds like the doctor called you but as the line was bad, you were cut off. Unfortunately, I am unable to verify if you were called back or not as you are anonymous but this is something we can look into as all our calls are recorded . Going forward, the easiest thing to do would be to fill in an Econsult which is reviewed every day and you will be offered a GP appointment within 2-3 days if your concerns are routine. If your concerns suggest your situation is urgent, you will be contacted by the on call doctor on the day. Hope this helps. Dr Wole Olarinmoye GP Principal and Trainer

Review titled Awful service
Rated 1 star out of 5

Went to the surgery some 8 moths ago with a minor skin issue. Diagnosed and sent on my way. tried to get a repeat prescription to be given a different diagnosis. Fast forward to present day. I have had a total of 5 or 6 consultations re this issue (all but the first via the phone) This has a resulted in 5 or 6 totally different diagnosis!!! Having finally been referred to a specialist, again via the internet, I've been told diagnosis number 7, an incredibly common issue. Then, just to make this process especially irritating, it took a visit to the surgery, 3 weeks after diagnosis number 7, to get a prescription and treatment plan when they had not even bothered to contact me about. So, in nearly 8 months, I had a single face to face with staff, 5 or 6 telephone consults and finally an internet consult with a specialist to be told that it was a very common issue that should have picked up on my first visit! Avoid.

Review titled Excellent service

I telephoned late on Friday to get a repeat prescription that I was running out of before Christmas. The receptionist was friendly and approachable. She said I should really phone their prescriptions line but they had closed at 1.30pm but not to worry I have forwarded your request anyway and it will go directly to the pharmacy. I picked up my prescription today. Excellent service.
