When my elderly mothers medication was lost in transit by either the airline or airport when returning home, the lovely team at Westlodge could not have been more helpful. I visited the surgery and the lady on reception was fantastic, contacted one of the GPs and the prescription was arranged the same afternoon. The medication is time critical so the speedy response and compassion was greatly appreciated ! I would love to name the receptionist and the GP but knows this goes against the review policy but hopefully you will both see this and know who you are ! Thank you so much West Lodge.

First time meeting this nurse, found her very friendly and professional, First time had blood test that has left no bruising. Very happy with my treatment and the friendly staff.

After having a high reading when blood pressure was taken at the weekend in a Pharmacy (not in Farsley) the practice rang me on the Monday and asked me to call in so they could retake it the result was normal and she provided me with the reassurance I needed before going on holiday. The HC was lovely and I didn’t feel rushed the NHS need more staff like her. Thank you.

Being diagnosed with COPD I was put under the care of a specialist COPD nurse. Her enthusiasm and experience were second to none, she exudes empathy and understanding and she is also an active listener. Right from the get go she fully understood the feelings attributed to both the physical and emotional impact of the life changing disease. With this in mind her diagnosis and care plan was all about me. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to give a positive review of my recent appointment, because so many reviews focus on what doesn't happen, rather than the excellent things that do. Two very professional nurses. Very friendly and approachable, I didn't feel rushed and they explained alot to me ,which put my mind at ease... a credit to the service!

Very practical, speedy friendly advice and service when my wife and i needed energency advice this week. Front line staff, doctors and duty nurses, engagedcquickly and flexibly to fit me in with a bloodctest as they had a gap. Dealt with my wifes tequest for an intervention on iral thrush by offering an IT solution fir photographing symptoms and gaining quick appointment as a result.

I had my smear and the nurse explained the process even explaining what hpv is and the process, I don't think in 13yrs I've ever had that explained before. The nurse asked about domestic abuse first time that had happened which I already aware of as an ex domestic abuse advocate I was happy the nurse followed protocol. The quickest smear I had. I was anxious and the nurse told me to take my time didn't rush me and made me feel comfortable and heard throughout. I told her about a worry I had with work as the anxiety caused me to cry before the smear and she was very caring but also stayed on time without me feeling rushed.

Cervical Screening campaign encourages those eligible for a cervical screening (women and people with a cervix aged 25 to 64) to respond to their invitation letter and book an appointment with a GP practice if they missed their last screening. The NHS has issued a call for anyone eligible for cervical screening to come forward for a potentially life-saving appointment, with nearly a third, around 4.6 million, not taking up their latest test. Had an NHS check-up that was delivered excellently where the student nurses fully & clearly explained what the examination involved and why. Each test was carried out very smoothly and they told me the results as these became available. Blood samples were taken very easily and it was great that these were pain-free and there has been no bruising as a result of these. I found the final-year student nurses to be confident & very capable and from their diligence they did identify an usual reading on one of the tests so referred this to a senior colleague following which further tests have were carried out during the same appointment and a treatment plan is now being made. A thorough check-in delivery very well & professionally.
