I called the surgery at 8 am on a worrying matter, was answered within two minutes and given a face-to-face appointment for later in the morning. I saw a very nice doctor who examined me, gave me encouraging advice and told me to keep note of my condition and report back if there was any deterioration. After two days I was still concerned so I rang the surgery and within 30 minutes the doctor rang me back, took time to discuss all of my symptoms and allayed my concerns. I cannot compliment the practice enough for the way I have been looked after over the last few years and I am so grateful for their continuing excellent level of service.

I have been trying to get a referral for a sinus scan for a few months now but the doctors ignore my condition. I have a sinus problem. The left side of my nose is blocked all the time. The mucous membrane does not work properly. I am given a spray, antibiotics but it does not help. I cannot even get a face to face appointment with a doctor because there is no place. I work and pay NHS contributions and there is no place for me to even meet a doctor. It is a big joke. Medical assistance is at a low level.

On this occasion I feel I must give the experience 5 stars. I went to the surgery with my daughter and grandson for his 1year vaccinations. We went on 23 April, in the morning. To say we were dreading it is an understatement as previous vaccinations have been traumatic and this time it was 2 needles in each leg. The nurses were absolutely amazing. They had such a great system, both of them giving the vaccinations simultaneously in both legs. They were quick, professional and completely in sync. Obviously my grandson still cried but not as badly as previous times. I'd really like you to pass this on to the two particular nurses as they made the experience so much easier. Thank you

Called this morning and there were 30 in the queue ahead of me. Practice staff contacted me within 10 minutes I think it was and a face to face appointment made for my urgent issue. Huge relief to see the doctor. She put me at ease and great to move forward after a period of worry and wondering what to do with things. Many thanks to the whole team. Hugely appreciated support.

Rang the surgery to arrange an appointment at 10:30, was given one for that afternoon, saw a lovely lady doctor who spent time talking through my problem, reassured me and then checked me over while I was there. What more could I have hoped for? Thank you so much.

I attended the surgery today for an appointment, and notice the same receptionist as previous visits. She is obviously rude, cold, and appears careless when interacting with patients. Makes you feel as if you've offended her by asking for her help, booking blood tests, etc. In an environment such as a GP surgery, surely this is the last thing you want to encounter when already anxious about an appointment and medical issue? Been with the surgery since birth and never encountered anything like it. Really impacts the reputation of the surgery and dampens the service provided by other members of staff.

Dear Patient I am sorry you find one of our receptionists to be rude and cold however your comments here are not very helpful to me. Of course it is the last thing we want within our team but as this is anonymous, I cant work out when you were here and there is no name so I cant work out who you mean. We take great pride in training our team and they all wear a name badge. If we have somebody who is giving us a bad reputation we want to do something about it. Please could you email we.scripts@nhs.net with reference NHSC140824 for my attention so that I can investigate this and ensure somebody else is not made to feel the way you do. Had help from a lovely pharmacist this week. She took ages to make sure she understood my problem, discussed it with the doctors and then rang me back exactly when she said she would with a solution, over which again she took time to explain the reasons for the decision and the actions that I should take to ensure I remained safe. So impressed and so grateful.

The lady GP I saw is amazing. Nothing is too much trouble. She goes "above and beyond" She helped me with a problem regarding my pain medication and took the time to listen and understand my concerns. She is a great asset for Western Elms and Circuit Lane.

I wanted to say how grateful and impressed I was with the long call I received recently from one of your doctors. He was very thorough and detailed about statins, with all their advantages and the likelihood of side effects. I felt I was having a real conversation with him and he answered all my questions and made everything very clear. Thank you very much.
