I just wanted to say that after losing confidence with practices over the years around 7 years ago someone recommended this surgery to me. I have never felt so listened to and attended to before. I’ve got a lot of medical needs going on at the moment and I struggle to engage due to not wanting to overwhelm the practice. Every medical professional and reception team have always made me feel comfortable that this is not the case and have done everything they can to support me when I require it. I feel so privileged to be a patient of this practice. Im currently engaging with dr lort. Her assessment and care of my needs is second to none. She prescribes appropriate medication for my needs and despite there being other options of medications that could have a detrimental affect I feel she has learnt enough about me recently to be careful in her prescribing. This I highly value. So yes just want to say Thankyou for all of the support I get from this surgery. Without them I don’t know where I would be.

Today I phoned to check an appointment that I had omitted to write down. Despite being a little embarrassed by this, the receptionist was welcoming, immediately putting me at ease and most cheerfully checking the appointment without any hint of being rushed; which she certainly would have been the day after a Bank Holiday weekend. My other query was answered with efficiency and friendliness, and she went the extra mile by asking a passing GP for the answer, thus saving me the need to ring the number she had suggested. I find everyone on reception to be welcoming with a smile when I come in, it conveys a warm and welcoming atmosphere which puts patients at ease. My overall experience of the practice team is very good indeed.

All staff very friendly & great to have appointment for flu vaccine no queuing. I have always had excellent service from receptionist , nurses & GP’s. No complaints.

Each and every member of staff- receptionists, admin, nurses, phlebotomists, GPs, the whole team at the Whipton Surgery both past and present go above and beyond each and every day. It is an outstanding practice and I am very thankful to be on their books.

I would go back again any day. Lovely people/ doctors . All around Like all doctors at the moment its not the easiest thing to get an appointment. But you can if it really needed.

I arrived early but was seen promptly. Staff were very friendly. Vaccine was explained with some of the side effects and whom to contact if I had any concerns. Overall the experience was stress free.

Had our flu vaccinations today , polite happy staff that put us at ease, hopoto have our covid vaccinations there soon if possible
